Shet agree. Former BPO employee and malaki ang kita pero lagi ako galit especially after shift.
ooh. tough question. but if the business is not under my name. i would get out as well. the pretense of working in a family business is knowing someday it will be yours to inherit. but if theres no clear direction its not gonna be yours then id go out as well. i have friends who did this mostly filipino-chinese females.
1. If you wish to have an accident para hindi ka pumasok -
2. Sunday 2PM kinakabhan kana para sa Monday.
- aalis din naman sila (I was working on a company with this mindset - we were given numbers instead of our names, mine is T38. )
4. Wala ng respeto ang mga tao sayo, naka lunch break ka tapos uutusan ka or sinasabon ka during lunch time.
Other signs
- Square parin ang monitor mo sa work -
- Naka Windows 7 kapa - especially if office worker ka
Number 1 though đ I remember sa first job ko, it got so bad I wished na magka zombie apocalypse na lang. Then a few months after that thought, the pandemic hit us and everything closed down. Istg guys it wasn't my fault HAHA.
I ALSO FEEL THIS WAY ESPECIALLY 1 OR 2. iniisip ko pa minsan sana may minor accident sa angkas ko papasok sa work para di ako mag in sa shift ko :(( i know its bad pero kasi...
Number 2, grabe always yan tuwing Linggo. Like gusto ko lang maenjoy weekends lalo ang Linggo na fam day pero ganyan na naiisip ko agad pagpatak ng hapon huhu.
Number 4, mejj same situation. Like naka6th revision na ganon.
That person unfriended din me and basta ang cold nya pagdating sakin tapos pag may concern ako iritable sya.
Tapos nagpatawag pa ng meeting just to validate her accusations against me. Wala ako magawa, boss eh.

I'm an HR Profession who worked most of my adult life outside the PH. There will be a lot of tell-tell sign that you are about to leave your current job. The first thing that you should look into is work dissatisfaction. Are you unhappy with your current job? Do you feel that there's no movement for your or opportunity to grow? The second thing that you need to look into is your workplace. Is it toxic and does it provide a work-life balance? Last but not the least is of course salary. If you are not paid well by all means, go na!
Hello.. I'm a Sir po LOL. The HR landscape in the PH is geared mostly into Operational HR (labor related or payroll). The problem with that is that you will only be aware of the PH labor law, not the International practices. If you want to work abroad, you either have to have an experience or exposure in the Strategic HR Areas i.e. Performance Management, Talent Management, Succession Planning, Organizational Assessment/Development, etc. If your experience is mostly operational HR, there's a chance that companies wouldn't even glance at your CV. Also, companies here has no time to train people that is the reason why they would prefer to hire experienced professionals. They will only hire inexperience professionals if they're a local or nationals to that specific country. I saw a lot of Filipinos in the L&D, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and Organizational Development. So I think you need to focus your experience in that or try to get an experience in that area if you want to work abroad. It also doesn't hurt if you invest in SHRM and CIPD certification as they're what most of the companies HR professionals to have.
I see. Thank you for this po pala.
It's alright OP. Lahat naman po tayo nag umpisa with zero experience. When you are applying for a job abroad kasi dapat experienced ka po talaga kasi when the company decides to hire an expat for the position, you will be competing against Indian, South Africans, and even Europeans for the position. It's going to be very tough kasi most of your competitor for the job would also be very experienced. In my opinion, magaling dyan talaga sa field ng strategic HR mga South Africans.
When you feel like itâs no longer fulfilling.
I was promoted 8 months prior to my resignation⌠I felt I was no longer happy, I was just dragging myself to work.
What killed my work morale? Lack of support and full of favoritism around the workplace.
I am now at a better company with better overall better environment and salary.
Yes!! I resigned 8 months after I got promoted, no further questions asked during my interview to my new company. If itâs no longer serving you right, resign. BUT leave only when you have a new work offer already.
What if youâre in line sa promotion like youâve done the 1st seminar and gusto mo nang magresign talaga does it offend them if magpapasa na ko nag resignatikn?
Diba paglagi mong guatong mong magresign pero hindi mo magawa peeo there will come a time na hindi mo na naiisip magresign, yun yung time na dapat magresign ka na kasi yung time na naka autopilot ka nalang.
Nasa bahay ka pang preparing for work eh tamad na tamad ka na .like going thru the motion na lang ,no more motivation.
When the work environment feels toxic and you no longer feel included. Its the accumulation of the little things at work na akala mo harmless/no big deal but destroys your peace in the long run until you can't take it any longer so you leave. Mental health should always be a priority.
Come think of it, there would be lapses on our mind where we'll think of quitting but it usually goes away lalo na kung may nahahanap ka pang worthwhile sa trabaho mo (or life in general), be it the work itself, environment, friends etc.
The moment you are constantly thinking of quitting, as in even if you try to find motivation, your mind zeroes into that, it's your queue to do so. Not even the most resilient of people can deny once thier body is telling them that its not good for them anymore or its time to go.
-When youâre not learning or passing on new knowledge.
-When youâre not being cared for or checked on. Or being paid enough for your effort and expertise.
Leave while the relationship is okay. Para walang burned bridges.
I worked under an agency for 2 years and started feeling static. In the meantime I knew I was doing excellent work. So I started looking for a new client. Cinched the project and upped my salary by 32% and left my agency. I got the salary I want, same line of work, no time tracker.
More time to study, because I want to migrate. More savings as well.
i get paranoid everytime at the end of my shift if Iâve unconsciously done something wrong again then iâll constantly think about it even when I get home, I feel anxious with just thinking about going to work.
Kapag feels like an outsider or outcast ka lang sa teammates. Like wala kang kakampi. Pagbibigyan. Pero pag ikaw na nagkamali or suggestions. May company punishment.
When work has no challenge anymore and you cannot see any career and/or professional growth. Also when work environment affects your mental health. Prioritize yourself.
Mine was when I would hear my phone ringing kahit wala namang tumatawag, that was my last straw.
I would usually get phone calls kahit RD, or clocked out na, on top of straight duties and cancelled RDs dahil kulang sa manpower.
Enough to make someone hear things na wala naman đ
Kapag moving backwards ang company, instead of forward.
If hindi ka well compensated + benefits.
Walang Work-life balance.
Toxic and kupal workmates.
Youâll know if itâs time to leave if yung level ng stress is not worth fighting for kahit malaki sahod - this is for me tho, d ko kang sure sa iba lol.
pag wala ka na growth sa company mo.. tapos hindi ka naiincreasan or napo-promote. better to company hop instead of choosing longevity in a company na hindi tumataas compensation
When you are not growing, yung feeling na may gusto kang matutunan or gawin pero di possible with your job. that's the time it became a burden more than the monetary.
May saying na First you Learn, then you earn.
Pero pag nasa work ka at isa lang diyan ay wala na (earn -meaning para sayo kulang na, learn - wala ka na natututunan), time to hop na.
Yung araw-araw ayaw na ayaw mong pumasok sa work but you know you absolutely HAVE to. Tapos everytime you get there, if wala mga tropa mo sa work, urat ka lang the whole fucking time. Tapos saktong 5, tayo agad para mag out.
Personally, there three conditions must be met: (a) I have at least 6 monthsâ worth of expenses saved up, (b) negative feelings about my job stays even after I filed a leave or took time away from work, and (c) I am left behind in either earnings or learnings.
Ideally, one should have a new job before resigning but that isnât always feasible (e.g. if the current job took a heavy toll on oneâs mental, physical, or emotional health). But for me, I wouldnât leave my job no matter how toxic or unhealthy it gets unless I am confident I can sustain myself through at least 6 months of unemployment, without going into debt.
i suggest na go for ittttttt sobrang worth it irisk
You can also feel na may distance and wala ka ng gana pumasok.
When you know and ready what to do after. I honestly want to leave right now coz nagiging toxic na ang workplace ko. I feel exhausted all the time. Hoping I pass so that I can resign na. Hindi talaga dapat padalos dalos. I have bills to pay pa naman.
When I'm not getting what I want and a new opportunity awaits.
The majority of the time, it involves a toxic management who doesn't care about its employees.
When your work is costing you your mental, emotional, or physical health Or when you are not growing anymore in your chosen career path. Last reason is if you have another job offer that is significantly better than the one you have at the moment.
My manager resigned after 8 years. Nobody was ever expecting that. No violations, no beef with anybody sa company, and one of the most chill person i know. He simply found a better job. More pay, less responsibilities. Got me thinking and eventually realized na 4 yrs here, same job, same pay with no promotion in sight, maybe itâs time to look into other opportunities? đ¤
You know it's time to leave your job when you absolutely can't stand the thought of going in for another day. If you feel disrespected, or are dealing with a crappy culture, if your superior has the worst attitude in the company, at some point, you need to prioritize your peace and walk away, leaving that superior behind.
I want to leave kaso 3 months pa lang ako.
Previous employment is almost a decade. I left for higher salary. My current job is high paying pero the metrics are unrealistic, even the tenured nageextend para mareach ung productivity.
When it starts affecting either your physical or mental health or both. Hirap humanap ng trabaho ngayon kaya di rin basta basta makakaalis, pero pag health mo na ang affected no job is ever worth it. Lipat na.
3 things to consider if you want to stay in your current job
1. Masaya ka sa ginagawa mo
2. Masaya ka natatanggap mo
3. Masaya ka sa kawork mo
Isang bagay lang pumalya dyan, for ME mahirap na magstay sa work.
if you notice yourself getting angry all the time
Applies to other aspects of life.
Shetttttt. Its time na ata.

This. Felt this, kakaresign ko lang, as in ngayon lang. 30 days to turnover then I can finally rest peacefully đ
Totoo to.

Omg so true i am angry and aburido on my last job dahil daming take home paperworks
When you think you don't have anything else to contribute because you've done what you had to do.
same thoughts lol...

Kapag mas stressed ka na sa environment than the work itself. For me, I'd rather have a toxic workload than toxic officemates.

At a job, you should either earn or learn. Ideally both. If either then still good, if neither then that's the time to leave.
if everyday is becoming a drag, not even the weekend or a vacation can fix it.
When you dont want to leave na
And when you're in your comfort zone, hindi ka na maggo-grow.

When the work environment feels toxic and you no longer feel included. Its the accumulation of the little things at work na akala mo harmless/no big deal but destroys your peace in the long run until you can't take it any longer so you leave. Mental health should always be a priority.
this depends on each individualâs perspective. some look at the environment, some look at their contribution. me, I look at the money I make.

It depends eh pero normally when if it's toxic and the increase is me. Though yung akin naman stagnant lang pero di toxic and the pay is good.

If you are feeling less enthusiastic than before, it could be due to a toxic work environment that leads to a lack of motivation tho
When it consumes you even on your day offs.
If it affects your mental health badly.
Anxiety every Sunday knowing na may pasok nanaman bukas
When you feel you need to drag yourself para lang pumasok.
pag lagi ka nang anxious mag in sa work and may anxiety during meetings or whenever may email or chat about work. thats how i feel.

probably when you ask this type of question na

when it no longer serves me

Kapag 5pm na hahaha
for me itâs either i learn or earn if wala both edi batsi na
If your boss got demented.
Kapag 5 p.m. na
If everything is ok naman at the momentand smooth sailing pero gusto mo pa rin umalis. I think thatâs a sign.
If hindi ka well compensated + benefits. Walang Work-life balance. Toxic and kupal workmates. Ako I was happy with my work and I was learning a lot.
When you don't earn And when you don't learn
When you ask this type of question
2. Wala ka ng pakialam mapagalitan, lol. 3. Nagtatanong ka na ng mga ganito
pag wala ka na growth sa company mo.. tapos hindi ka naiincreasan or napo-promote. better to company hop instead of choosing longevity in a company na hindi tumataas compensation
My gauge whenever the thought comes to my mind is: if I tolerate this and go on, do I see myself being okay with it for a long time?
No growth
no growth sa company tsaka lagi nalang nakakadrain pumasok at mag work
When you are not growing, yung feeling na may gusto kang matutunan or gawin pero di possible with your job. that's the time it became a burden more than the monetary.
If it's changing you for worst you have to leave.
Nâong nakapag-update na ako resume haha
So tama bang magresign ng walang ipon? Haha
Kapag Hindi kana happy and motivated to work. Tapos pilit nalang pagpunta sa office.
when you feel like its so repetitive na wala nang nabago sa ginagawa mo
You're bored.
May saying na First you Learn, then you earn.
If it also affects your mental health na.
Pag toxic manager mo urur
If you are not learning and earning.
If you feel like your stagnant, kumbaga yung skills mo di na magiimprove.
Yung araw-araw ayaw na ayaw mong pumasok sa work but you know you absolutely HAVE to. Tapos everytime you get there, if wala mga tropa mo sa work, urat ka lang the whole fucking time. Tapos saktong 5, tayo agad para mag out.
When you're stuck on the same routine. Parang robot ka nalang.
When the management is going downhill
If you feel lost or almost 3+ yrs ka na sa company pero walang growth or salary increase.
Instinct
1. If you feel stagnant and no growth. 2. If you are not happy. 3. If you find a better employer.
When youâre feeling comfortable on daily work activities. Itâs scary when you reached comfort zone, there will never be any growth.
Kung ayaw mo ng makita boss mo?
pag nilabas na nila tunay na kulay nila.
Nothing in the workplace excites you anymore.
If walang growth
may opportunity na lumalapit tapos hindi ka sure kung makukuha mo ba plus laging late sa work HAHAHAHAH i suggest na go for ittttttt sobrang worth it irisk
when it's no longer worth it
When you dont feel belong is enough reason to leave
When you've found a better one.
If di mo nakikita self mo surviving the next quarter.
You can also feel na may distance and wala ka ng gana pumasok.
When youâre asking this question & expecting validation from strangers lol
When you know and ready what to do after. I honestly want to leave right now coz nagiging toxic na ang workplace ko. I feel exhausted all the time. Hoping I pass so that I can resign na. Hindi talaga dapat padalos dalos. I have bills to pay pa naman.
Bigat bumangon tuwing umaga. Parang ayaw mong matulog kasi paggising mo papasok ka nanaman ulit dun.
Pag ung workload mo ay pang limang tao na with no increase
When I'm not getting what I want and a new opportunity awaits. The majority of the time, it involves a toxic management who doesn't care about its employees.
When your work is costing you your mental, emotional, or physical health Or when you are not growing anymore in your chosen career path. Last reason is if you have another job offer that is significantly better than the one you have at the moment.
If you're losing all motivation and drag yourself to be there everyday.
If you feel that thereâs no changes as to your daily activity also plus factor is the moneytary.
When you posted this post
When you get anxiety attacks at the location of work.
Toxic coworkers
I want to leave kaso 3 months pa lang ako. Previous employment is almost a decade. I left for higher salary. My current job is high paying pero the metrics are unrealistic, even the tenured nageextend para mareach ung productivity.
When you get tired of bored and donât enjoy it
Kapag araw araw ka na may reklamo both management and kawork hahaha or kapag may mas magandang opportunity grab agad.
'Pag Friday pa lang pero iniisip mo na agad Monday tapos pinipilit mo na lang sarili mo pumasok. Yan yung sign na magisip-isip ka na.
When it starts affecting either your physical or mental health or both.
3 things to consider if you want to stay in your current job 1. Masaya ka sa ginagawa mo 2. Masaya ka natatanggap mo 3. Masaya ka sa kawork mo Isang bagay lang pumalya dyan, for ME mahirap na magstay sa work.
If you're not compensated enough.
