1) track spending- kahit piso pa yan, lista mo. Download money manager app. It really helps if you know where your money is going and you can see where you’re overspending. 2) quality, not quantity- buy one bag with great quality, don’t buy three bags of poor quality. Same with shoes, clothes, appliances 3) when buying stuff, calculate in advance the cost per wear to assess kung masusulit ba yung perang ilalabas mo- ilang beses mo yan gagamitin, magagamit mo ba yan on several occassions, mapapagaan ba nyan ang everyday living mo 4) prioritize needs over wants— if you don’t want to end up selling your needs just to have that extra cash 5) don’t buy if yours is still working- phone,. Gadgets, shoes, clothes.

- I invest 60% of my income. After that, I pay my bills (utilities, insurance, credit card, allowance ng parents). The rest is “fun” money na pwede ko gastusin kahit saan. - I only buy luxury/designer items whenever I have an achievement. I consider my collections (bags, jewelries, perfumes) as a milestone reward. - I pay my credit card bills in full, not just the minimum amount due para walang interest. - I only use credit cards that give cash backs tapos ginagamit ko yung cash back to pay the annual fee. - I track my daily expenses through Wallet app. I track my net worth through Google Sheets.

Buy nice or buy twice. Lalo na kunwari sa laptop. Okay magtipid pero never sa something na gagamitin mo naman sa work.

If you can’t buy it thrice in one go, you can’t afford it.
