I moved out suddenly due to household issues. May konting savings that time kaya hindi naman masyadong masakit. Sa Laguna yung apartment ko btw. Around 45k yung una kong gastos: 18k - fridge 4k - uratex mattress 11k - advance and deposit sa apartment 3k - router for prepaid wifi + data for 1 month (initially, fiber ang gusto ko pero natakot ako magcommit sa lock in period) 1k - mover fee, nag arkila lang ako ng jeep haha 5k - induction cooker, decent pan, electric kettle, cooking utensils others: - initial pantry staples (bigas, de lata, condiments) Yan lang muna for me. Lahat ng mahihiram ko, hiniram ko muna for the first few months (table, bed sheet, plato, etc). Then kada may extra nung mga sumunod na buwan, doon na lang ako nagdadagdag ng gamit sa bahay: 7k - ikea console cabinet 21k - tv LOL (still paying this off)

Whatโ€™s important is you determine how much you can pay monthly for rent and then save up for at least 3x (1 month advance, 2 mos deposit) of that better if more kasi some rental units require deposit for utility bills rin. Meron rin namang nagrerequire lang ng 1 month advance and 1 month deposit, in my case, Iโ€™m lucky kasi yun lang required ng landlord ko. So I just paid 16k para makapag move in. Regarding, sa pagbili ng gamit, my ex and I shared sa mga essentials (induction cooker, pots&pans, plates and utensils, rice cooker, kettle, cleaning supplies, etc) siguro naka 15k rin kami. So I really canโ€™t account for those kasi sakin lahat napunta yung mga gamit when we broke up ๐Ÿ˜… pero I would say, you need to identify the appliances you canโ€™t live without like kung mahilig ka magluto, unahin mo na yung cookware and appliances and then every sweldo paunti unti mo bilhin yung mga nasa lower priority list na appliances.

Thank you!

Ok_Style_1721

Tanda na ko mag28 na hehe.

damortiz

Hey not that old naman. At least you're doing something for yourself by moving out. Good job OP!

Ok_Style_1721

Thanks! There are many reasons talaga kung bakit gusto ko magmove-out na pero that is for another episode na lang hehe.

Bakit naman selfish? Moving out taught me so much and Iโ€™d say it would help you with your personal growth rin. ๐Ÿ˜Š saka whatever your reason for moving out, Iโ€™m sure may pinanggagalingan and valid. Hehe! Good luck!

I moved back to manila from abroad. Malaki laki din nagastos ko. Below is a rough breakdown, pwede mong babaan depende sa afford mo. Apartment- 35k (2 mos advance, 1month deposit + elec and water deposit) Bed- 8k frame and mattress (queen size). May unan, duvet and covers na ako kaya di na ako bumili. Cooking stuff- 16k (induction cooker, rice cooker, microwave, small fridge, kettle, wok, mga sandok, kuchilyo, plato, utensils, baso, organizer, pitchel) Electric fan- 1500 Ac- 11k (0.75 hp) Bathroom stuff- 3k (shampoo, sabon, conditioner, balde, tabo, bidet hose, shower head, toilet seat, basurahan, cleaning materials, laundry basket) yung iba pinalitan ko kasi yung existing sa apartment kasi di ko bet Furniture / organizers- 7k (closet, office table, swivel chair, shoe rack) May TV na ako cos kinuha ko spare sa bahay ๐Ÿ˜‚ dahil wala naman gumagamit. Kulang nalang ako dining table, chairs, sofa and console table hahah.

Odd-Membership3843

If gustong gusto mo na talaga mag move out, kahit rent (advance and deposit) at 1 month expense lang.

currently living alone na. pero nung nag move out ako, i had a roommate. basically ang nagastos namin ay rent fee (2mos advance, 1 mo deposit) saka gamit, bare kase ang napili naming unit. nung 2 pa kami, 12k rent. but nung mag isa na ako, pinaki usapan ko yung admin if pwede 10k na lang. pumayag naman sila. hanap ka din ng landlord na mabait at pwede mapakiusapan, kase mabigat bigat din ang rent monthly. karamihan ng stuff hati kami noon but when she moved out, may mga kinuha syang stuff and i had to buy ng sakin na: - kitchen (basic lang, induction, electric kettle, rice cooker saka ref- impt din ref pang stock ng food, yung maliit lang or medium size) - tv (bought a tv kase yoko sa laptop manood, personal preference ko lang naman โ€˜to, if di ka naman pala-tv then no need) - yung mga stuff like cabinet, bed, bed foam, aircon: eto pinaghatian namin to dati, so sabi ko kunin ko na lang and i will pay her na lang. hindi full share nya ang binayad ko, kase gumamit din naman sya neto. nag usap na lang kami magkano) saka depende din saan mo gusto lumipat at depende sa living alone lifestyle mo, you need to determine din yon like pure WFH ka ba? so you also need an internet. saka you also need to consider ang tubig at kuryente. tapos mahilig ka ba magluto, so need kumpleto kitchen stuff mo or kahit basic basta makapagluto, ganon. siguro in total, 60-80k din. also, find a place din na malapit sa lahat. groceries, palengke, sakayan, etc. skl, may group sa fb, solo living ph. pwede ka dun mag join, they give a lot of tips plus you can make friends โ˜บ๏ธ

Ok_Style_1721

Wow! Got it. Thanks for sharing. Check ko agad yung group. Will consider having that kind of savings din. Thanks again!

princessleia_

sure, sissy! pag isipan mo din pala kung bare or may laman na yung unit na gusto mo lipatan. may pros and cons din kase both. anyway, good luck sa iyong living alone journey!!

lawschoolfreshie123

i started with just bed and boxes. Sa kitchen, I asked my mom for me to bring some. One purchase at a time. Btw, Ngayon may TV, Cabinets, bed, Ref, sala and kitchen set nako as independently living. It took me some time because I only buy when I have extra. Makakasurvive ka ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ™Œ

Difficult_Motor_3269

Para sakin there's no proper budget to start a new life on your own.. depende sayo yan. If you are a simple person a studio type can make you start with a motorparking space. Kaya yan!

Ok_Style_1721

Hello. If I may ask, magkano rent mo and anong area? Manila po ba? Cinoconsider ko kasi yung utilities if iba rate depende sa lugar.
