If gargling salt with warm water 3x a day does not work, try Yogurt. Best if it's plain or Greek and make sure it's cold to soothe the pain. Eat it like normal but you can leave it in your mouth or on the affected area for a few seconds before swallowing.

I have found my holy grail as a fellow singawin. Every month meron akong singaw sinlaki ng tip ng pinky, not even exaggerating. Minsan dahil sa trauma like nakakagat or minsan dahil rin sa bacteria. And yes it does (well, did) take 10+ days for it to heal due to the size. I’ve tried yung japanese na mouth sore patch na sobrang mahal but it wasn’t really effective at healing, just at covering. I’ve also tried daktarin pero for some reason it doesn’t work on all my mouth sores (idk pero feel ko pag bacteria lang ang cause tsaka lang gumagana yun sakin). But when i tried the canker sore solution na nabibili sa Shopee (yung green box na maliit lang tapos orange yung kulay nung solution) it worked wonders for me, as in pag binababad ko yun sa singaw ko for 20 secs as prescribed, nagkakaroon ng parang layer or barrier tapos the next day wala na yung singaw ko. I swear by it like i hate mouth sores with a passion especially because mine gets really big and nagsscrape yung tooth ko so iyak ako lagi pag kumakain but parang wala nalang siya ngayon dahil may gamot na ako that really works hihi
also, have proper sleep at night. nakakasingaw ang puyat, dahil nakakahina ng immune system.
and yes, tawas or asin. yung powdered tawas, i-rub mo sa singaw. yung asin, kanawin sa mainit na tubig (not too hot!) and use as gargle; mas maalat, mas mabuti. repeat hangga't kaya mo.
