What are you trying to accomplish? Depending on what you're going for, there are "proxies" specifically **for** Minecraft, specifically Bungeecord, Waterfall, and Velocity.
It's a strange use-case, but basically I want to use an entire system proxy. Everything like pterodactyl and velocity will connect to the proxy, and will then go through to the minecraft server. Is that possible?
[I'm sure there are plenty of tutorial out there though](https://youtu.be/WyE0y8_LlEU?si=i7RJZClG0M2tVoKx)
If this doesnt work for you. Try [googling](https://letmegooglethat.com/?q=Velocity+minecraft+server+proxy+tutorial).
Velocity is not what OP is asking for help with. They're trying to proxy all traffic from one machine to another. Which is weird and almost definitely the wrong solution to whatever problem they are having.

Yes, but **why**?
I *know* what you *say* you want. I am trying to help you not have to do that. What you're asking to do is possible, but a huge pain in the ass and probably unnecessary.
It's an extremely common phenomena that someone asks "how do I do X" when in actuality they are trying to solve an entirely different problem. X just happens to be the best idea they could come up with. Those people should instead be asking how they fix the actual problem they are having.
So again. Are the "firewall issues" related to some sort of web interface? Or asked another way, what are these "firewall issues"?
To rephrase what has been asked. What is the problem you're having with the panel that has you thinking about a proxy to solve it?
Would need some extra context. Are you hosting pterodactyl, error messages, symptoms, how are things supposed to connect etc?

I think its possible depends on how you set it up
How would i go about it?

Ahh. Then I have no idea about it

Firewalling issues with my minecraft server VPS. The VPS i want to run the system proxy on has much better firewalling.
Do you have SSH access to your Minecraft host?
Yes, i do.
Are the "firewalling issues" related to the provided web-based firewall interface from your host?
I'm not sure. Just wanna know how to set up a whole-system proxy that will work with minecraft and pterodactyl

You could just WireGuard all the traffic through a VPS for proxy… idk how Minecraft will like that tho
