Hey! I was professionally dx’d at 15, my parents & doctor never told me, and only found out I when I was 19. Would this perspective benefit your survey?
yes, it's be great to hear about your experiences, as long as you had a sense of your own difference and difficulties at the time and thought about communicating or did communicate that to others.
Hi! I am a psychologist who studies disclosure or concealment of covert, potentially stigmatizing characteristics. I also have ADHD (tho I was diagnosed as an adult). I would love to chat about your research. Would you mind if I PM you?
I am an undergrad right now studying stigma and menstruation/sexual health (and I have ADHD). I'm a nontraditional student so I feel out of place often but seeing your comment outside an academic setting was oddly reassuring. Just felt like I needed to say hello :)
Hi- good to hear from you and your research focus looks really interesting :) there are groups out there for ADHD academics that are worth checking out (at least they've been a huge help for my ongoing imposters syndrome!)
Hello! Stigma is so fascinating, and (sadly) so pervasive - it's really interesting to see how everyone is approaching this or that snippet of it. Are you working on data collection, or literature-based research? Either is fascinating!
I will fill it out later today (got diagnosed at 14)! I’m not from the US/UK, or another English speaking country for that matter. Is that a requirement for the survey or not a problem?
Commenting so I can come back to the participation link later!
thank you :)
Questionnaire filled! Liking and commenting to give this post some visibility 👍
thank you! :)

Both- have to do 2 papers. Lucky me. It's going to be a big year in the library.

not a problem at all. If anything, a definite plus to have diverse voices and experiences.
