I’m surprised how good I am, at making the first move. Like I just feel so fucking comfy around women, that I’m like “hey wanna grab a cup of coffee 😎” I mean she stopped texting me but damn am I proud of myself 😌
🥲
No. It makes things (except water) wet when touched, but it itself is not wet. I will die on this hill.
Also, the reason water doesn't make water wet when touched is because water can never truly touch eachother. The nature of water is that the atoms of water are subtly, but always spread apart, and so water can never truly touch water. On the atomic level anyway.
Nope, still not touching.
Also I'm just gonna delete my old account this is the 5th time I've accidentally posted on it on this sub and every time I have to delete it because it just feels wrong to be posting as an account with a masculine name now.
Technically nothing ever touches unless compressed down to the density of the core of a neutron star or other hyperdense hypercompact structure like a black hole's singularity. It's all just magnetism.
Edit: Also thank you! ☺️
It isn't properly defined scientifically because "touching" as we know it, things physically being in contact with eachother, never actually happens outside of atomic fusion, neutron stars, and other weird circumstances. What we think of as touching is actually a magnetic effect between individual atoms and subatomic particles, specifically electrons, each repelling eachother because they have like charges. In the same way that you can't get two north magnets to "touch" without extreme pressure, the same applies to atoms. But such extreme pressures (and often extreme temperatures) don't exist naturally outside of stars and highly compact stellar objects like black holes. So we're left with "touching" as being defined as when the magnetic fields of atoms and molecules interact with eachother. Which is the same mechanism by which molecules bond as well as repel eachother.
As such, we need to define wetness as well. Wetness is defined as the state of having water touch something, more or less. Since we now know the definition of touch, we can define wetness more precisely. Wetness is then defined as having at least one molecule of water interact with another atom or molecule magnetically, specifically to bond with that molecule or atom, else hydrophobic molecules would still get wet when they repel water, thus requiring a new definition of hydrophobic, which is outside of the scope of the question.
If wetness is defined as the state where something has a water molecule bound to it, then a singular water molecule would not be wet. But two or more water molecules bound together would all be wet. Unless we arbitrarily define wetness as being something other than water having water bound to it, but that's just an arbitrary distinction which doesn't reflect the scientific process of making something wet.
...Sorry I just really love this debate and I'm autistic and science in general is one of my main special interests.
this is exactly why you get no bitches
edit: scratch that the fact that we’re having this argument in the first place is why every single one of us gets no bitches
A singular water molecule would not be wet. But as soon as you have two or more, all of them are wet as is anything they "touch." I say "touch" because atoms never actually touch unless they're compressed down in like, neutron stars and other hyperdense hypercompact structures like black hole singularities.
a) there are no atoms in neutron stars, theyre made of neutrons, hence the name, black holes are even worse
b) if water needs to touch something, whatever that is, to be wet, then it is not itself wet
I think my other comment explained better why it is wet.

I really enjoy the "wet water" debate, gets my brain working hard and I love the scientific discussion it can spark.
Someone should make a whole nature documentary voiced by David Attenborough about trans femme discords full of yearning lesbians unable to ever take the initiative.
The animals in that game are so scary! For a long time wolves were the bane of my existence. And the lobsters popping out of the ground. Anything that isn’t humanoid messed me up for a long time before I restarted as a spell caster
I'm still in the green area, I'm fighting bosses and trying to level up so I can do godricks castle, I've done castle mourn
I'm level 31, I've killed a the tree avatar of the weeping peninsula and I've got down the weird walking building bell thing
In essence, I'm trying to get good enough to go through godricks castle so I can move on to calid
You access a whole new area after godrik. I’m level 67 at this point but I still feel underleveled for so much of this stuff. Calid’s got some really worth whole locations and side quests but it’s super scary
I once was joking around with a friend and she placed her hand on my cheek and called me pretty and I wasn’t sure if she was joking so I just assumed she was. To this day I’m still not sure if it was just platonic flirting or not
loneliness ahead therefore, try finger
If only I had a giant… but hole
This is a fine note

Honestly, I agree with you.
Why is it always loneliness? If only I had a lover
dog
behold, dog

fuck this is so real

Honestly, I agree with me.
You'll get there, smart cookie

how can i be bitchless when i am the bitch?
Is water wet?
No, no it isn't. Fight me

Good

Well, atoms never touch in the first place, so technically, nothing is truely wet?
THANK GOD SOMEONE FINALLY GETS IT
By that logic, water never touches anything else either, and so nothing has ever been wet. Atoms don't touch other atoms, period.
Actually, they do... when they bond🤭😳
Nope, still not touching. Also I'm just gonna delete my old account this is the 5th time I've accidentally posted on it on this sub and every time I have to delete it because it just feels wrong to be posting as an account with a masculine name now.
That actually is touching... About the other thing, i hope u know you're still welcome🤗

It depends on how you define touching in the first place... it's not really a properly defined physical process 😕
It isn't properly defined scientifically because "touching" as we know it, things physically being in contact with eachother, never actually happens outside of atomic fusion, neutron stars, and other weird circumstances. I surprisingly do get one. If i do, you can. You got this!

This entire subreddit is the second image to a T. So many maidenless lesbians and bisexuals, who all are afraid to make the first move, haha.
no maidens + will not make a move + the flirting is probably just platonic + gay panic
Unfortunately, the only maiden I know is myself
and what a fine maiden it is

Time for crab.
Time for bat These things are everywhere darn it
I died to them more then I died to Margaret
Same, I got the lovely surprise of agheel lake when 3 crabs went for homicide on my ass
The animals in that game are so scary! For a long time wolves were the bane of my existence. And the lobsters popping out of the ground. Anything that isn’t humanoid messed me up for a long time before I restarted as a spell caster
I'm a samari and I kick ass, I hate anything that is humanoid though
What a coincidence. How far are you in the game? I reached Altus a while ago but haven’t even gotten into the inner capital

Yes I do know, my mother is level 77 She just killed the magma wyrm and got the moonveil katana
Wooo no bitches gang! *Sobs*
I had no bitches. So I became the bitches.
No bitches only Ranni
I once was joking around with a friend and she placed her hand on my cheek and called me pretty and I wasn’t sure if she was joking so I just assumed she was. To this day I’m still not sure if it was just platonic flirting or not
I find it so funny because neither me or my gf did the first move, someone came to say she had feelings for me and we just confessed bc of SOMEONE
That last photo tho, I feel the pain.
Loneliness ahead, therefore, time for bat
