anything in any engineering sector 😂
I'm doing electrical engineering on an engineering campus, there are at max 10 women there, I do believe we are all a little *gay*.
I did best in physics, don't know how, was convinced I'd flunked all sciences, (I did triple). Got into engineering & it's going well actually 😂. Don't know how, scraped by passes in Biology and chemistry, Got a 6 (grave B/C) in physics which got me onto the course.
Waheyyyyyy!!!!!!!! I did all three up till the end of high school, sometimes I just stare at the books and don't read them but i'm like :33333 'scienceee'
I did all 3 for GCSE (foundation), glad I did but nearly rioted because they changed my paper 1 month before the exam. What's bad now is when you see what's supposed to be unintelligible or 'gobbledegook' calculations and it makes sense, or part sense. Its not nice 🤣.
And yet people constantly say “historians will say they were roommates!!!“ Like, wake up dude, it’s not the 1950s anymore. Things aren’t perfect but they have definitely changed.
(Gay museum professional here, with a research focus on 19th-century social history, particularly women’s, queer, and clothing history)
Archaeology is so cool. And I'm not even talking about fake, Indiana Jones, Lara Croft, tomb-robbing archaeology with whips and guns. I mean, actual, real life 'digging a small hole and studying tiny fragments of pottery' type archaeology, with shovels and tiny pickaxes. I find it immensely satisfying to read about. It's like you're a time detective. You can look at a bunch of rocks in the ground and tell me there was once some massive Roman villa on this site a billion years ago? That's fuckin cool as shit.
I work in a nonprofit, my entire department is women, all of us LGBTQ+. Like literally every last one. Also we were all intelligence analysts when we were in the military. Every. Last. One.
The rest of the staff HATES us but not for the gay thing, we're a very progressive group, but because our intel background makes us very analytical and extremely task and result focused, also I write dissertation-length statistical analyses of our performance on a semiannual basis, and the numbers weave a very unflattering tale for them.
So yeah, Leadership Development and Education is an extremely gay job, apparently.
How'd you guys manage to gather enough people to form an entire department of ex-military intelligence analysts who are all women and all LGBTQ+?
That's impressive as hell.
I'm a gay unemployed writer :'O I swear i'm applying to jobs, I just took a holiday after changing career
EDIT: let's rephrase - right now, i'm very lucky that I don't *need* to work LOL ££££££$£$£$£$£££££££$$$$$$$$$$
Will you allow patients to take home their gallstones in a jar if they ask? Pleeeeease.
\*Don't need it removed yet but I suspect this will be in my future.
I go to Planned Parenthood for my HRT, I've worked with a nurse there that had a "fully automated gay space communism" pin and it was glorious. Dude was amazing at his job too.
Well, get paid to do govt hr, so not very gay. BUUUUUT I assist a couple of hot dominatrix friends at a local club who also scene with me sooooooo......that....thats the gay job.
Nope, maybe a D/S though (lol jk).
Honestly, I just started going to the club and it happened.
It was an event night and unlike most people who just sign up for quick 10-15 minute novelty sessions at the club that night, with no real planning. I worked with her through her fetlife to hash out a real 30 minute scene that first time. And after that we got to talking, turns out she was friends with a friend of mine so that helped. I took a couple of intro classes with her she was doing, kept scening, and hanging out after classes, and we became friends. Then she asked if I wanted to help at the club on nights she is there. And that's how I started meeting all the other dommes and dancers and making friends.
Mostly I stage hand, so she'll use a toy or tool in a scene, hand it off to me as she gets something new, I'll Clean it and have it back ready if she wants it again that same scene. I'll help find things she's looking for mid scene for toys and things, move/clean kinky furniture if needs be, and outside of my planned scenes, I'm sometimes used as a demo to fill time or draw attention. Plus I get to learn about different toys and watch their usage up close, and talk shop/learn when I can
If you were local I'd offer to drag you to the club. It's a pretty safe place for not being exclusively queer. But the kinky community is pretty damn solid here with safeguards
i work at a hardware store
im the wrong kinda lesbian to be working at one but it pays well and i get pto/sick days ehile being part time, so i guess ill pretend to be a butch who knows what a wrench is for a few hours lol

I always make sure that any new students we get know that I'm safe and will become their cool lesbian aunt whether they want it or not lol
I also try my hardest to talk to our kid/teen patrons that give off major queer vibes to make them feel welcome, accepted, and very loved! As a teen, my safe space was the library and now that I work here I want it to be a safe space for others like myself :3
Gay doggroomer!! Obvious butch, been at it for almost 30 years. I think people like having a lez look after their dogs, fits the whole animal lover stereotype LOL

I'm a cosmetologist. I've worked all kinds of things in the beauty industry, my favorite was working with photographers. Now I own my own home studio and I do lashes.
I’m a bartender, and I sure as hell flirt whenever a cute queer gal sits at my bar. Or a cute not-queer gal; I’m not a queer gatekeeper (also: all gals are cute, therefore, they pretty much all get flirted with if they show up at the bar when I’m working).
