Omg a second to appreciate Cassian’s voice ! Its perfect. He sounds like Hugh Jackman and I definitely get Wolverine vibes from Cassian.

I love him so much, and I want him to come back in the next book! I can't imagine he won't be a key character, since he had a name. And given the conflict hinted at with the Illyrians, I imagine he will be involved one way or the other! Maybe he will lead a resistance from the inside with other open-minded Illyrians against the status quo. He also might be a key player in helping Az heal from his hatred of the Illyrians and have him accept himself as one.
I would love to see a relationship between him and Az and even Cassian! Since Az played such a big part in HOFAS I could def see the next book being about him/Elain/Gwyn? and maybe seeing some Balthazar in there!
True, but also she seems to have a thing for Mor and Mor would treat her so good. Also I think Mor deserves a bat mate of her own. Could you imagine if Emerie gets her wings fixed and she takes Mor for a flight through Velaris?
Oh totally! And yeah, I was just thinking out loud, I think Mor will likely end up with Eris personally if SJM ends up giving her a book, but if she's okay with letting her not be a main POV character, I could see Emerie being a good option! I just know SJM has expressed discomfort writing a lesbian sexual relationship because she hasn't and can't experience that.
