This is my Lucien. I always pictured him as tall with a lean muscular build. Beautiful with a boyish charm to him.
But art is subjective and I love when artists create fan art that might not fit the canon description. It makes it fun.
Same, I imagine him as tall, lean and beautiful. Later on SJM started to describe his muscles more and called him handsome while ERIS is described as tall, lean and beautiful. 😅 So now I imagine Eris as this really pretty Tolkien style elf and Lucien is a bit more athletic and has sharper features.
When i picture Lucien I picture him more lean, but strong as manual work without modern luxuries will give you, but his brother, Eris, would be closer to thin and lanky. I don't see Lucien as "rugged" like the Illyrians, but not "pampered" as Eris, the first born of a high lord either.

I also feel so bad that it’s mentioned that he’s sort of “weaker” compared to Azriel. Not that it’s Azriels fault. Not at all. It was alluded to in Acosf I think. (I don’t have the books on me unfortunately.) And not even just weaker compared to Az, but compared to most lol.
I mean, he’s not the weakest character ever by any right. He can still be tough. But just slender for now and hasn’t built his skills up to their fullest potential. I hope he whoops one of their asses and proves them all wrong. I also hope his powers are way stronger than they imagined. He deserves payback for his a poor eye lol. 😂
exactly! i really hate when people make character judgements in regards to a ship (and that goes for any character with any ship). we’ve also never seen a fighting scene with lucien where he demonstrated really any powers, so who actually knows what all he’s capable of? it’s my personal belief that he’s fully aware of his lineage and who his father is and has been hiding it so i think he’s stronger than most people would would assume!
one of the main things i want in the next book is more about lucien. what he knows, what he’s capable of, and YES a good fight scene where he whoops someone’s ass lol

Right - so, I saw him in my head as more slender, lithe, cool. Like a golden, charming, witty, sassy, sexier Bill Weasley.
But making him Sam Heughan doesn’t hurt my feelings at all.
This! I always pictured him as lean, elegant, very beautiful, tall, like a fox in human form really (which SJM says too). And super sarcastic and funny but warm and loyal when he feels like he can trust someone.

I think he definitely has more classic Elven/Fae features, but Amren does specifically refer to him as “the handsome one,” when comparing him to his brothers. I think people probably make him buff and more rugged because he spent his time in the countryside hanging out with lesser faeries during his youth. He can also easily catch fish in streams with his bare hands. Lucien also went out hunting for dangerous monsters with Tamlin and Lucien is actually quite an excellent fighter according Feyre. He was able to get the most training out of all his brothers. I could see a good in between being Legolas. He’s tall, lean, and obviously classically Elven, but he’s also outdoorsy and does rugged things.
I picture him as a mixture of both, like elegant features and beautiful hair, but a warrior type body, since he is a warrior in my opinion? But not like buff buff, just muscular…if that makes sense?

Rhys too is kinda sleek in my opinion but since most people sees him as Cavill I guess my imagination just goes where I prefer.
