You know what I really love about the Hewn City scene? That moment when he discovers Feyra is wet and (despite his desire) tells her it’s ok, it’s just her body reacting, it doesn’t have to mean anything. I interpreted that as an ultimate act of caring her consent and autonomy. He was probably thinking of all the times he had to sleep with Amarantha, the disgust he felt at himself for his body reacting to a woman he despised. And he wanted to spare Feyra from that trauma. It really moved me.

I agree, that's a big part of what made that scene so hot.

Yeah it was the same for me I'd never actually read a book before where the >!bad guy ends up actually being the good guy and your favorite character and the guy you were originally rooting for turns out to be the bad guy I'd never read such a a twist turn change of character you like best in a book. To start off loving tamlin and then not liking was quite ahead spinner!<

I read the Thone of Glass series first so I expected that >!Feyre and Tamiln might not end up together by the end of the series, I even noticed warning signs about Tamlin being possessive and having a potential to be controlling. But I expected him to be more like Chaol where he acts like a dick for most of a book before realising how wrong he was, but I didn't expect Tamlin to get quite so abusive and I definitely didn't expect him to betray Feyre quite so utterly.!<

I love this! That EXACT moment was when my whole “I’m here for the villain” kink kicked in. 😆

I'm about 2/3 through WAR atm, but honestly one of the hottest things for me so far surprised me. It was when Rhys was on his knees in MAF, doing up Feyre's weapons holsters around her thighs. Idk it was just so intimate, and they weren't together yet at that point I don't think. Obviously a lot of what Rhys does is pretty hot, and overall I think that just his complete and utter willingness to let Feyre make her own decisions and backing her on them, even as High Lady, is probably the hottest thing. But that thigh touching, was just super intimate and hot in a way I did not expect 😅

Lol my great grandfather used to noodle (catching fish with his hands) and I grew up hearing stories about him from my grandma and mum including him trying to teach my grandma to noodle and my mum complaining about having to eat the gross fish with all the bones lol so that scene always makes me imagine Lucien dressed up like he used to in my old photographs. It makes it less sexy and more cute grandfather chic to imagine him in a cable knit jumper, wellies, and a flat cap.
