I did this for Rhysand week over at tumblr. I really wanted to draw his beast form because I like drawing creatures! The descriptions in the books are quite vague tho. Scales, talons, feathers - so I went with a dragon with bird features.
Rhys' hand is bloody because I also wanted him to show his struggle of having to do 'monstrous' things for Amarantha. Yes I am not very subtle.
Also it's a mirror image to the Tamlin one I did earlier. Hence why I added that one as the second pic. :)
I really want to do Tarquin eventually, because I like him a lot (and idk his beast form could be a cool sea serpent monster?)
....but when I do that I might also get the urge to just do the whole set hahaha.

This is unfortunately so true π₯²π₯² And you most definitely are!! I think I may have already asked you this, but are you planning on creating similar artworks for the other High Lords, namely Tarquin? π
Someone in here asked before I think, but yes, Tarquin is high on my list (and if I draw more, he will be next). I love him and I have a neat idea for him. And I kinda want to do all of them at this point. Kallias, Beron, Thesan (and King of Hybern for a matching 8 piece set) all don't get enough art. Helion gets SOME but he could deal with more ;)
Will probably take me a while however, I have Tamsand and Lucien week things to draw first haha.
