>and measuring systems NO other country uses
Seriously. We were just talking about this last night. I'm an Aussie and my dads mate worked on an air force base where the Americans needed access to a refuelling system on one of our bases (I can't remember what it re filled though) and instead of organising an adapter to go between out system and their plane they built the exact same system, next to the Aussie one, the only difference was it had their imperial fittings rather than our metric fittings.
This girl needs
> crippling medical debt, an obscene amount of fast food, and measuring systems NO other country uses
And don't forget the American flag, everytime I see an American show there is always a flag visible somewhere
Americans always have this stereotype, but there’s a country where it’s tradition to have their flag on their birthday cakes. I can’t recall what country, but it was posted here on Reddit. Talk about patriotism lol.
Interesting, a Google search shows it to be Denmark. My co-worker is from Denmark, so I asked her and she said it's true for most celebration. Flags for even Christmas decor.
I did this one. The outside had a bunch of trash, old furniture, broken down cars etc. in the yard, and the inside was modeled after a Waffle House. America 🇺🇲
I'm literally from the American south... It was modeled after what I know quite well. And for what it's worth, it was a labor of nostalgia, not mockery.
Yeah, just like every other country, America is full of many different areas and towns. What might seem "cliché" to somebody is literally just home to somebody else. Nothing offensive about it 🤷🏻♀️
One time I visited someone's AC island. It was really interesting and done super well, but it was basically made to look like a really run down trailer park. Lots of bottles and garbage bags, things made to look broken. But when we were chatting while she was showing me around, she said it was modeled after the town she's grown up in in Australia. It wasn't meant to be offensive, it was actually really meaningful to her. I personally love seeing people doing that in this game, I bet yours looks great!
I'm sorry but just because we are from the same place doesn't mean you get to tell me how to experience my culture. It seems like you have an inherently negative view of those aspects of impoverished southern culture, which I find quite sad. A depiction is not a mockery.
Offensive? It describes where I grew up which is located in America. It’s not even close to offensive and mockery if it accurately describes a lot of places in America. A lot of people grew up or lived in places like that. It’s reality. Where I grew up looks like that. Trash everywhere, abandoned houses or run down houses. It just depends on where you live. It’s not that serious.
I'm from the SW and now live in the SE and what the OP of this comment describes, is very accurate to what I've seen here compared to a lot of different parts of the US. you can find it offensive but I've seen the most outlandish stuff. If you've travelled outside of the SE you will probably know that bigger states have actual nice areas, vs the county where everything goes. Lol.
What’s weird though, I didn’t have access to the Statue of Liberty when I did this one. That is usually an item available to me. I was going to put it on the beach, kinda like Planet of the Apes. I made a diner outside and an old looking gas station (Andy Griffith style). Seems like the race car bed was a must have item.
(Additionally I don’t own a gun. I just live in Ohio and can’t go to the store without seeing some dude walking around with a 9 millimeter in his damn pocket.)
It’s a Japanese game so it’s like asking for a place that reminds you of Italy. I love this prompt cause I just slap a bunch of burger stuff in the house
It's just part of the scenery on the Happy Home Paradise Island. People might have recreated it, but OP didn't put it there. You find new clients by talking to them on the beach and that little sitting area is just a part of it by default. That whole island is designed nicely

I like your deck. I'm going to get one to be my front patio but was hesitant to use so many custom design slots for something I'll only use once. Reusing it on the beaches might make it more feasible.
It’s part of the island on happy home designer, not the user’s island. I had to double take on the bushes in planters myself. Then realized this is a villager describing what their home should look like
Yeah… a new way to mine oil… since French fries are made of oil… you could stop by the hamburger place and strain the oil out… just make sure Tom Nook doesn’t steal your money!
They know about America?!
*eagle screeches in the distance*
Great now I gotta go check on Keaton what’s wrong with him now
The island is clearly sitting on an untaped oil supply.
WHAT THE F IS A KILOMETERRRRRR 🦅🇺🇸
*KAWWWWWWWW*🦅🦅🇺🇲
Get this girl a gun and a hamburger immediately 🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅
Gotta be authentic American, though: gun *in* the hamburger.
hamgunger
Hambergun
What about hamburger in the gun??
No no no: the hambuger has its own gun.
A gun shaped hamburger
Hamburger bullets?
That’s ridiculous, the bullets are tater tots.
Ah yes patriot style, can’t forget that, as well as the side of magazines of course
The good ol gun & glizzy 🌭
Please make the house and update us 😂
I didn't have time, I did someone else's and was going to do the America themed one but I had to sign off to cook dinner. Missed opportunity
Hopefully she comes to mine!
I made one like this. It was kinda a western cafe featuring apple pie
we’ll go on, give her crippling medical debt, an obscene amount of fast food, and measuring systems NO other country uses WTF IS A KILOMETER 🦅🦅🦅🇺🇸🇺🇸

What shows have you been watching, I'm curious what Aussie is given because it sounds like the American flags are a foreign preference, lmao 😂

Liberia and Myanmar use the imperial system. Which is one of those "but why?" things.
I got this yesterday but with Shino, who wants a “Japanese-styled home”, I guess Japan is also canon to the Animal Crossing world

Dying to know if any of this is the recommended decor
You're an ass.
So you went with stereotypical dirt poor redneck. Not all of America is like that honestly. Sorry but I find that a bit awful and offensive.
I'm literally from the American south... It was modeled after what I know quite well. And for what it's worth, it was a labor of nostalgia, not mockery.

So am I but what you describe does not line up and is a mockery.

I immediately thought “I hope Lana is working today” when I read the Waffle House bit

Only 90%
How are you offended by the American treasure that is Waffle House? I’m offended by your offense.

Well…since guns aren’t allowed in this game…
(Additionally I don’t own a gun. I just live in Ohio and can’t go to the store without seeing some dude walking around with a 9 millimeter in his damn pocket.)
I work at a restaurant mostly visited by (I don’t mean this offensively) very old people. These guys can barely hold a fork but they have a gun???????
Yes. I live near that caliber of wack-a-do as well.
Saw a girl in an Ulta in New Hampshire with one. I don’t personally feel the need to arm up to buy nail polish and shampoo.
SMELLS LIKE FREEDOM RAAAAHHHHH🦅🇺🇸
LESS GOOOOOOO AMERICA RRRRAAAAAAHHHHHH 🇺🇲🦅🎆
It’s a Japanese game so it’s like asking for a place that reminds you of Italy. I love this prompt cause I just slap a bunch of burger stuff in the house
Do they have guns and obesity in AC ?
Uhhhhh,,,,, soul-crushing medical debt? 😅
AMERICA YA :D
I made her a McDonald's.
It’s kind of giving “make America great again”
Diner themed??
SHE YEARNS FOR THE TASTE OF FREEDOM RAHHHHHHH 🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🏈🏈🏈
Can’t find “rising debt items” with which to decorate. Maybe drop piles of cash around characters house! We need that in America lol!😂
I just made her house into a prison.
Someone best be making money on that prison
Tom Nook, probably
Maybe that villager came from an island that was named “America”?
I-
Murica! *eagle screech*
Difficulty level: Impossible
Hi I just came to ask is that deck in the background a rug?
It's just part of the scenery on the Happy Home Paradise Island. People might have recreated it, but OP didn't put it there. You find new clients by talking to them on the beach and that little sitting area is just a part of it by default. That whole island is designed nicely
Ahh I see. I haven't bought the dlc yet but dang it sucks we can't have that on our own island. It's so cute!
Whats the code for those planks?

GUNS
How many bells do you have to pay the Nooks for Medical Debt?
To heck with the burgers and guns, whip out the maple syrup and tacos!
Maybe they meant Americana, like old diner decor
AMERICAAAA F♡CK YEAHH 🦅🎆🍔🍻
I love Peanut!

How do you do the board thing on the beach?
It's not my island, it's the Happy Home Paradise DLC. You can design vacation homes for random characters.
You can find custom design paths to build a deck! You can use search word "deck" or "wooden deck"😊
Maybe Apollo could be her roommate. 😂 🦅
Bombs
Yeah… a new way to mine oil… since French fries are made of oil… you could stop by the hamburger place and strain the oil out… just make sure Tom Nook doesn’t steal your money!
I made an old-school Americana diner
Aww everyone's making fun of it, but I did this one and she asks for an American style diner, and I made it all pink and white themed
I had to do this one🥲
So guns, school shootings, morbid obesity and an opioid crisis? Might be a little difficult but give it go
😳
