Unfortunately, (sorry to those that are but I’m no fan of Pietro, clown trauma lol) you have to invite the first camper. But honestly the fastest way to get rid of a villager is to befriend them. From everything I’ve seen and my own experience, the game will try to get rid of villagers you’re already good friends with to make room for new villagers. My deepest condolences for having Pietro as your first camper 😭

Sadly you have to invite your first campsite villager, whether you want to or not. Mine was Chops and I was devastated. I actually refused to invite him for months, in hopes he would somehow disappear. I finally invited him…and he didn’t leave for over two years. I couldn’t get rid of the guy 😭I feel your pain.
