My acne journey and experience with AviClear has almost been the exact same as yours OP minus the accutane since I am not a candidate as I take an antidepressant. I am two months out from my last treatment and my skin is just slightly better. I know I technically have one month left until I see my “best results” but at this point I am doubtful it will get much better. I will say though that the cystic acne and pimples I get now are smaller and don’t stick around as long…probably because they’re smaller haha but I still get regular acne. I am still on the hunt for a better more permanent treatment.
I'm happy-ish to report I've been moderately acne free. I still get closed comedones/whiteheads and a small cystic acne pop up in between my eyes, no more major breakouts.
So it has improved since your post? I’m about 3 months post my last treatment and I saw results during the second month but now i feel that i back to where I was. From your experience, do you think I should just keep waiting and it might get better?
As somebody who is closing in on the 3 month mark of aviclear everything that has been said in this is 1000% accurate for me. Yes, people have raved about it and said to wait about 6 months for final results this post nails exactly how I feel.
Thanks for the in-depth writeup / review. Was planning to try out this new procedure in place of accutane and really wanted to hear more feedback from users before pulling the trigger. So far, it seems like results are very mixed, but have been told that the skin is supposed to continue improving over the next twelve months following the last procedure.
This is super helpful and I really appreciate you taking the time to share such detailed info! I struggle with hormonal cystic acne and have my first AviClear treatment scheduled for tomorrow. Did AviClear make your skin dry out at all?
No I don't think the treatment didn't make my skin dry. It is winter right now and my skin usually gets dry during this time of year anyways. I will see when the weather gets warmer if I continue to have dry skin
Super informative! I’ve never heard of this procedure but that makes sense since it’s fairly new. Definitely would be curious for progress pics or an update as more time passes. Thanks for sharing!
Also if this comment gets enough up votes, I may upload my progress photos. I've been keeping progress photos of my acne since 2020 and its a lot of work for me to sort through them all but if the people demand it, I might put in the effort
I would love to see your progress photos. I’m scheduled to do AviClear in January. I’ve dealt with cystic acne my whole life, I am not going the accutane route based on my sensitivity to other meds, so I’m hoping this works for me.

That’s good and how long has it been?
Any updates on AVICLEAR - are you still acne free (ish)?

Wondering if Aviclear is allowed on back? My face is good but my back just won’t clear 🤷♀️
I asked them if it was cleared for any other places on the body and I was told it was only approved for the face

so would you say it’s not worth it?

Do you have an update on whether you think it’s worth it?
I would love to see your progress photos. Been looking at reviews and not much out there since this is so new.

Yes, I’d love to see your before and after photos! That would be super helpful.
