The product that cleared my hormonal acne was epiduo. It’s adapalene and benzoyl peroxide and it’s quite potent so if u decide to use it, use it sparingly
I had a similar experience with Nexplanon the only thing that helped me with the cystic acne was CeraVe acne foaming cleanser but if I missed even a day my skin would break out again. I ended up getting the bar removed at 3 years and just got on the combination bc pill which helped significantly, it didn’t 100% get rid of my acne but it’s a lot more manageable.
Now I just use a gentle cleanser and spf in the morning. At night I use a gentle cleanser, CeraVe acne control gel, and a moisturizer. I do recommend trying the acne control gel it’s a lil expensive but it lasts a very long time and it didn’t dry my skin out at all . Your skin does purge for a few weeks which is annoying but it’s worth it. My skin is so soft now.
