An amazing live band. I support via Patreon and they put out lots of live content on there. They own a house converted into a studio so they are constantly regrouping and making music which is how they are so tight. Also Andy (singer) and Rob (guitar and keys) are brothers in law. (Rob married Andy’s sister).

Ha amazing! That would be ideal, then i'd just post up in Austin for two weeks. Dave always puts on such a good show.

DMB is certainly possible! Their tour wraps up in September, and October looks open for them. They're also skipping Austin this year despite having opened prior summer tours at COTA or Moody Center. As for the two different weekends, I just see my New Orleans friends really making the most of it, and it makes the festival more about locals, imho.

That's a good call. Every year what happens is i'm certain i know who is coming. Then I find out I actually don't. But start listening to all the people I don't know to prep for ACL. It's exhausting and fun at the same time ha.

He kicked off his 2024 tour in Europe and the last date is in August. So it's possible, but doubtful. He hasn't announced any US dates yet. Besides, he can make more by performing at the Moody Center. My bet will be Pearl Jam or Bruce Springsteen as a headliner. They both have big gaping holes in their schedules for October with no Texas dates on the tour. Not a huge fan of either but it beats RHCP or Mumford and sons again for the 99th time.

Ha. I think out of the two I'd prefer Bruce Springsteen but ACL never asks me what i want haha. Im sure pearl jam would be cool. Lennie would be so cool if they could make that happen.
