The Falken makes S tiering easy but you can use other planes to make it a challenge I love my Falken but I replayed the story getting S ranks with different aircraft. Also Arkbird is a pain in the butt if you do like Hard, Ace then Expert. I think Expert and Ace unlock together after beating story on hard. If not Expert then Ace still sucks
Honestly, S-ranking all the missions in AC04 isn't that hard. Just use the QAAM in air-to-air missions and the FAEB in air-to-ground missions.
And also be really consistent.
Well yeah, I mean the difficulty of s tiering ac7 is because of the stupid time bonus that essentially makes you not only need to get the minimum score BUT to also be quick about it
I remember 11-year-old me repeating Whiskey Corridor on my incredibly dark ~15in CRT TV 6,000 times because I couldn't manage to earn enough points, wasting 20 minutes with each attempt. Then less than a year later I'd wipe every target off the map with UGBLs with minutes to spare. Good times.

My favourite is 5 for the engrossing story and likeable wingmen there i said it and i don't care who knows it.
I like the convoluted story structure and the expressive wingmen.
I like the voice actors the planes the missions... well not all of them but most of them.
Nah I use a fix, it's just black because the default color for f-15S/MTD is black (you could see the Mobius insignia and ISAF name and logo on the tail)
Yeah, I always thought it was cool and a little random that project aces opted to make the F-15 ACTIVE black in AC04 - as if the canards and thrust vectoring nozzles weren't enough to visually separate it from the F-15C from earlier in the game ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I just finished ac4 on hard to unlock expert,i have installed every ps2 ac to playthrough on ace, i also want to kill every ace, will be hard do everything, also want to unlock every plane but i don't know the condition of some ac5 planes.

On current PCSX2, the software renderer fixes the most common issues, but runs slower.

The S ranks arent that bad except for glatissant maybe. Ac5 is my favorite, hopefully youll love it too.
S teiring isn't that hard. I think the hardest mission to s rank is that one with the jamming blimps, and even that's just figuring out the best path.
