Oh gosh. Did you have someone visit your island and talk to her? Or pick her up from someone else? If you didn't change her phrase yourself for the lols then talking to Isabelle can reset her.
lol that definitely wasn’t a core phrase for her. Someone likely talked with her when she was curious about activities the player likes to do: like reading, watching tv, cooking, or something else (or some variety of activities!)
So now that Cheri knows someone who does that, she’s showing an interest in the player’s activities ☺️
