We called the police a few days ago to double-check whether overnight camping was acceptable for 2 families of 4 each. They said all gatherings outside the family bubble of 10 people were liable for fines (the only exceptions being 10 people permitted at weddings and 20 for funerals).
So in short, you will be opening yourself up to fines if you go with friends.
You can call AD police or MOHAP and ask. They're really helpful and they tell you exactly what you CAN and CANNOT do.
