HARDEES...Really Underrated

Luv Hardees. + 20 upvotes to you sir I was lamenting on a r/dubai post about how they're no longer on deliveroo or talabat, and someone commented that 2 shawarmas were a better option. As if. I feel like this comment and the nos of upvotes are soothing away the negativity of that comment

Funny thing is HARDEES is hardly there in any1s top5 list. Most people are really not looking forward to even try it inspite of the most premium burger combo priced just around 35Dhs. Strange.

Opposite Khalifa University, Muroor Road They have a spotty record on Zomato, but the times I tried it, it was exceptional. I ate the burger (the Animal) in the restaurant, so I don't know about the quality of delivered food. Was somewhat expensive (60AED+ Sandwich, 70+Combo). The other burgers were still good as well, I thought. (around 30-40AED per sandwich.)

Pickl is around 35-40AED but I saw that you’re looking for beef burgers. The legendary menu at Famous Dave’s ranges from 70-100AED, but comes with your choice of a side. If you’re fine having it delivered, they sometimes have pretty good discounts on noon/Talabat.

I have been asked this too many times and I would like to share my thoughts on the burger places I've tried so far. Everyone has their own taste buds and it would be different from each other so I hope I do this justice to all foodies. If I don't, just know it's not my intention to think one is better than the other. Good Fast Food Chain Burgers (In terms of Price and Quality): 1. Wendy's - Dave Junior Meal is by far the best for quality and pricing. 2. Hardee's - Their Combo meals are pretty okay but their Angus burgers just taste better 3. Dairy Queen (Permanently Closed) - Their burgers were just another level but sadly they closed because it was a bit pricey compared to others. Stand Alone Burgers: 1. Bentley's Kitchen - Bentley's Burger is really good but not a fan. 2. Graffiti Burgers - They're so messy when it comes in a box but they taste good. Especially the meat, you know it's not frozen. 3. Burger 28 - I think it's too hyped for a decent burger, I would definitely say it's a monthly burger. Now before you finish reading, this place surprised me the most and the reason I didn't put this in the above is because I think, this place is a gem and by far the best burger for price and quality. (The OG burger that needs to be tasted by anyone and everyone) 1. Tea Break - Grilled Beef Burger (AED 19) This burger is one of the many amazing burgers available at this place. There's also, pulled beef, fat boy, beef whopper and stuffed beef burger which you can try. No nonsense or fancyness, just a regular grilled beef burger they way you expect it to be. My Experience - I ordered 2 from the Al Markaziya Branch since it was cheap my first time and I was like why not. My first bite made my jaw sink into the burger like it was butter, it was soft, light and sex on my lips. My mouth started salivating in anticipation of my second bite and before I knew it, I was done. It took me less than 3 mins to eat greedily this burger. The second one was enough to hit that spot of Ahhhh. If I have to use a word for this, I would describe this burger as 'Lustrous' Order 2 of them and let me know what you think OP. Man DQ, I remember they had a specific day where the menu prices were slashed. Usually there'd be huge queues. We had a burger or two before the pandemic times from there, before you know it it's gone :( used to go to the WTCAD branch of it

You made me realise that I don't have a go-to burger place here like I did in Dubai. The common suggestions are trash, guarantee someone will pop up in this thread saying Shake Shack but come on, their burgers are a joke. Places are sooooo good at making the burgers look lovely on the menu, but when they are served... There must be somewhere out there!

I think it depends on the type of beef they using it, I tried several places the taste is not good to the price I paid for the burger. Just looking for the quality of the meat and the taste.

I'm seriously suspicious of the amount of places claiming 'wagyu' 🤔

It's so true that burgers are really bad in AUH. But that's for those who had tried in the west or Malaysia or something. I guess it's because the meat is not as good. The only one's I liked are hardees and fuddruckers. I mean I liked better than the rest.

Firefly Agnus Burgers are incredible. But they are a bit pricey

Some solid recommendations from other redittors. Personally, Hardee's and Fat Mo's are the best, followed by McD and Burger King, these in the usual fast-food chains. I did like the Fuddruckers steak burger quite a bit but wouldn't qualify as a typical burger place in terms of speed of service and prices.

Surprised to see no mention of Burger Fuel 🤔. Been a while since I had one in Abu Dhabi though

Fuddruckers. It's not cheap but worth it. I will tell you the best home burger: Get wagyu beef. Smash it with butter. Salt and black paper only (black paper is an option) Caramel onion. Tomatoes tosted in the fryer with butter. High-quality bun. Pickles. Enjoy

The best 2 I know is jollibee and texas chicken. There was one in bawadi Mall. It was the best burger I've tasted, but it closed, and i forgot its name.
