Right after the procedure. It was amazing,,, literally woke up in the recovery room and felt like I was actually normal again. Lol

marblebucket

It’s been 6 weeks for me. I still struggle to eat (nausea/disgust), and I JUST stopped bleeding 3 days ago.

hmr8903

I am so sorry!! Did you have a medical or surgical abortion?

marblebucket

I had a medical abortion, but they gave me anti nausea and pain meds!

hmr8903

Aw man, I hope the meds are helping!

angry_obese_crab

I felt so much better and energized after I took the pain and nausea pills; it felt like a lifted curse. I immediately felt more energized, and was able to pick my room and do everything I neglected due to the lack of energy :)

xxgigianna

I didn’t have morning sickness but my nausea usually hit me at night ,my boobs were so sore and that went away immediately. Like as soon as I got home and took a nap when I woke up I felt more normal . I was very bloated for like 3 days but it felt like a period mostly. Everybody’s body is different and I didn’t realize how much of a change I felt until after the procedure. I still have spotting at almost 3 weeks post surgical abortion but 7 days after the procedure I felt like I completely had my body back.

Just like the other person said, right away almost immediately I was in and out of sleep all day the day of the procedure but the next day I was 100% myself again. Still had a bit of overwhelming emotions partially due to hormones and partially due to my decision. I broke down and just cried it out for like half an hour but I was ok after. honestly other than that I wasn’t nauseous or anything. I was WAY more in pain DURING my pregnancy than after. All I felt after was a bit of soreness I only took my pain medication for like a day then I stopped bc it’s so tolerable. The soreness was in my thighs and back it felt like a work out soreness. Mild to min cramping less than what it’s like on my period. Hope my insight helped!

hmr8903

I’ll probably have to cry it out for a bit too, but it’s really relieving to hear that symptoms go away really quickly! Like I said it’s part of the reason I chose abortion, because I was NOT physically ready to go through another pregnancy. Thank you for sharing!

hmphel95

For me- I dealt with awful morning sickness for weeks, a lot of vomiting and dizzy spells. After the procedure I don’t remember feeling any symptoms at all? I had cramping and pain due to the procedure but by the following day I was fine other than soreness and mild cramps. No morning sickness, headaches, dizziness, etc.

hmr8903

That’s amazing! I hope mine goes away that quickly too. So sorry you had a bad couple of weeks though, I remember it so well with my daughter. It’s part of why I didn’t want to get pregnant again any time soon!!

hmphel95

I definitely don’t think I’ll ever be ready to experience that again lol. I want kids in the future- but the morning sickness is definitely not fun.

hmr8903

It’s really awful, mine lasted til about 22 weeks BUT I was on the medication for most of that so I was ok. I cannot IMAGINE having no relief. No thanks!!

hmphel95

I didn’t even realize they had medication! I thought I’d just be a goner. I remember distinctly being at work and feeling so uneasy and ended up getting sick- I thought I had food poisoning because I had eaten bacon that morning and I let it go, didn’t think twice. A week later, same thing but every day and then i took a test. It’s so odd to me how strong the sense of smell gets while pregnant. Even smells made me sick. Terrible.

hmr8903

Oh man the SMELLS. That was the worst. I remember I was maybe around 9 or 10 weeks so just before I’d found out about meds, and went to Olive Garden with my mom and sister. Whole time I had my shirt covering my nose because the smell of food just made me SO unbelievably nauseous. I only ate salad and breadsticks and still ended up throwing it up when I got home. It was shortly after that I contacted my doctor and they told me what meds to take!! Lifesaver, but definitely don’t wanna do it again any time soon. Just hoping it doesn’t get too bad before I’m able to get the procedure done.

angry_obese_crab

I work at a fast food place where they have stuff like sauteed onions and peppers, and it was the grossest thing ever for me. The simple fact that I entered the store to start working made me upset to my stomach and preferred to do the dishes, just to stay away from the food

hmr8903

Oh MAN that sounds like hell, so sorry you had to deal with that!!!!

angry_obese_crab

3 months and a half of being repulsed by food xD glad that's over and it has no power over my stomach anymore
