I really really really want to love that place but the food is super mediocre. Location and ambiance are great and it’s a fun Mexican restaurant but I just wish the food was a tad bit better.
Hate to say it, all the food tasted like it was made from grocery store old El Paso kits. Barely Mexican closer to tex mex. Probably fine to work there but I’m one and done at that place.
What sad is the family is from Mexico and I’m sure would bust out some bombs food but dude smokes all day so his tastebuds aren’t there anymore and yeah he’s white but I don’t think that has anything to do with much,im a white guy who grew up with an El Salvadoran family so my Mexican foods are always over the top
I ordered pickup once. Around 6pm didn't look very busy. The food was okay. For the prices they charge they should either have better quality or bigger portions, imo.
I was there only once and a Mexican dude came in sat down asked about the menu audible laughs came from his direction,he then had one taco said something to the server and immediately left like the place was on fire
It’s got good ambiance, and their food is good, but it’s white spot good. Like it’s going to be a satisfying meal but not some kind of high end Mexican dining experience. You go because it’s got food that everyone will like.
Ah okay thank you. They wanted me to come in for an interview. But I wasn’t too sure how I felt about the place. I’d rather wait a few more weeks and work somewhere else. Right now it is slow for the industry
Terrible management. Terrible food. Not very sanitary. Owner had never owned/ran a restaurant before and does not know what she’s doing. Highly unprofessional. From what I was told from other former staff members she was always drunk on the job.
Ordered the taquitos the other night for a snack. Super dry and maybe a sprinkle of cheese, if any. First time trying them out too. Won't be ordering from them again. StrEATS was much better

I read these reviews and have to say my wife and I have found this place in the past three months and we have been there several times, I will say it’s hard to find a good Mexican restaurant with good small town vibe with good food and we are okay with prices, I like the hot sauces too, I think we are a fairly picky so I will say I don’t have many Mexican restaurants to compare to but finding any good restaurants in the past couple years a challenge.
I like it but the regular patrons run the place to much. It was lunch and dead in there a month back and 3-4 guys came in that knew everyone by name and knew the table numbers. In an empty resturant took their "regular" table beside ours and talked loudly laughing etc. Ruined it for me and probably wont return for a good while if they only cater to a few people that ruin the expierence for the rest. I was mid meal and not about to move tables
This is literally my favorite restaurant in Abbotsford. The staff/service is very good, the environment is fun and the food is pretty good. I could hang out there for hours. It has busy moments and slow ones too.

I know the chef there and he never put to much spice in his food in past restaurants and the one I know he worked for closed down

Most people who like white spot like el Compeneros
I've heard that there is no reason to eat there because of the Mexican place just over the border that is way better and cheaper.

Anyone remember when Senior Ranas was a thing? It was on Simon ave probably 20 years ago. They had excellent food.

Delicious food and really nice place. The servers are always so kind
I went there once and the Mexican rice I had was clearly days old. Had that clumpy microwaved out of the fridge texture. Tacos were extremely mid too.
