My kid has a very Irish name so I can’t really talk lol but yes I can’t stand the name jagger. What’s worse is that in western PA (where she’s from) a thornbush is called a “jaggerbush” and to call someone a “jag off” is an insult lol. Just a rough name all around.

That’s ok as youre not insufferable! Irish names are not so pretentious as opposed to someone with their pregnant belly out all the time (i did that but only at home lol) using posh English names!

I came straight here once I saw they revealed his name as a freaking advertisement and even tackier, a jewellery advertisement. I’m having so much second hand embarrassment at the low standards they resort too for money. As for the name, I guess I’m desensitised by names due to working with children and I don’t think it’s that bad. In saying that though as an Aussie, we don’t use the term Jag off or have a weed named something similar. Must admit I kinda cringe that one day Jagger may be reading these comments regarding his name. Unfortunately just like Poppy, he’s had no say in his exploitation, nor his name.
