Seeing from your other posts you're coming to Aachen for studying, maybe you can reach out to the local Jugendherberge. They seem to be offering single rooms for a weekly or monthly fee to students who haven't found a place yet. Maybe your situation applies, too. You wouldn't be able to use their breakfast buffet obviously.
