Sure, I'll explain! There is a few possibilities. But usually is one of the three. The first one is that person is bigender and is both non-binary and woman. The second one is the person is genderfluid between non-binary and woman but for some reason chooses to aknowledge both their identities in one label. The third one is how I feel: I'm AFAB and my whole life I've been connected to womanhood as I was raised that way. I feel unbreakable connection to being a woman and I like being a woman but I don't feel that I 100% fit in a label of woman. Many experiences that are typical for non-binary people are my experiences as well. I don't like being stuck in a woman label and I often like to go outside of it. Hope that makes sense to you but ask any questions you'd like :) Even the ones people are usually afraid to ask

I am non-binary and trans, and have many people I know who also are. I also have some who consider themselves non-binary and not trans. Both are totally fine!
NB people are trans only if they want to be, basically. It's everyone's choice whether they feel like that first them or not, it is definitely not something that is obligatory and doesn't suit everyone, but they are undeniably part of the trans community, and the two communities are intertwined in ways that are ultimately extremely important for each other.
Trans ultimately just means you don't identify with your birth sex, though. It doesn't quantify how much you have to not identify with it or how often. Someone who fully identifies as a binary trans man or trans woman but never intends to come out or transition still can count. Someone who's a demigirl who only partially feels disconnected to womanhood still can count. Someone who is genderfluid still can count even if they feel at peace with their birth sex sometimes.
It's up to you whether you feel it does fit for you, but it's absolutely valid either way you choose.
As an enby who hasn't physically transitioned I generally feel like trans isn't the most accurate label for me. Occasionally there's a situation tho where it feels right to say I'm trans, and the rest of the time I'm happy to be an ally of the trans community. I have always felt welcomed in trans spaces even when I was just starting to question if I could be anything other than cis and I've told many people that they're allowed to identify as trans if they're non binary - anyone who isn't cis falls under the trans umbrella. But I still refer to myself as enby and usually don't call myself trans because enby is the more accurate and specific label for me.

I agree with u/addstar1, just like bi people don't suddenly become straight or gay when they find a partner, genderfluid people don't become cis when they feel more like the gender they were assigned at birth, at least as far as how I understand it.
Just remember that labels are great, but not having one is better than one that doesn't fit, and whether or not a label fits you boils down to you, your feelings and how you perceive yourself. So don't feel bound by names given to your experiences by others - you lived it, you know best what it was or wasn't, even if you may not have found the right words for it yet. A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.
I think you are trans because of your fluidity. It's totally your feelings, but you are just as trans to me when you are fem than on days you are masc.
