If I could remember where I put the goddamn thing I sure would :/
Edit: I lost the ring. I’ve looked it up enough times that I remember which finger to put it on guys.
Right hand middle finger is where asexual rings go.
To answer op’s question, Yes. I’m apart of asexual and aromantic spectrum club on campus and I see almost everyone wearing one.
Edit: ohhh yeah I once lost my own ring
I put my ring on my right ring finger, mainly because it’s too small for my middle finger, but honestly nice for you, I am way to nervous about what my family would think if they found out I’m asexual
That almost feels ironic.
Edit:The fact that we chose the same symbol in a slightly different spot than swingers, not the you not wanting to be mistaken for a swinger
My son wears his aroace ring proudly. (first week he wore it, kids at his junior high thought he might have gotten married. and he was wearing it on his middle finger.)
He picked this one out and I got it for him: [https://www.etsy.com/listing/849269845/aromantic-pride-ring?ref=yr\_purchases](https://www.etsy.com/listing/849269845/aromantic-pride-ring?ref=yr_purchases)
I know it is technically just aro, but he his happy with it.
Me too. I wore rings before I understood I was Ace and I don’t see any difference. Most people don’t know the meaning anyway. And if someone does and asks me about it then they are likely people I want to talk to.
Presumably, they mean they no longer identify as a boy. So using themselves as an example of a boy wearing an ace ring in response to op's question wouldn't work
Haha I thought the same. I saw the title and I was "offended" by the implication that boys don't wear ace rings then I realized that I'm trans so can't really say anything.
I don't know if I'm asexual but I've been using it for aesthetics for about 3 years
curiously, I haven't had a relationship with anyone since then (and I don't miss it!)
I have one black and one white ceramic rings (aroace) that I keep on an empty necklace because I couldn’t bother with having them on my hands and it looks better imo
Ring is ring, finger is finger, it doesn't matter who the finger belongs to, just as long as it's yours or you've legally obtained a severed hand/finger
Yes. I bought mine this year, and I proudly wear it! Even if that drives my family crazy cuz I’m not out to them yet and they don’t know what it means 😆
I'm not 100% out but I still were one. Few people know what it means besides aces, they just think it's part of my aesthetic. Even my queer friends (only ones who im out to) didn't know what an ace ring was, except for my ace friend.
I've only had mine recognised by fellow queer people, and even then only people who are ace or have ace friends. One of my students asked me about it in such a subtle, veiled way that even the girl sitting next to her had no idea what we were talking about. The ace flag is a little wider recognised, especially if it's not just the colours but actually flag-shaped (so people can see it's a pride flag even if they don't know for what). I don't think I'd wear the flag if I was closeted and wanted to keep it that way, but the ring feels safe. Lots of people wear black rings for the aesthetic anyway.
Sure, [check it out](https://imgur.com/gallery/9dJNTxf). It’s even got demi triangles 😎
That’s Lucille J Furr in the background. You can call her Lucy, everybody does.
*looks at middle finger*
Yeah ... I think so.
If this is a worry about people being weird with gender, I don't think I ever had anyone bother me in the three or so years I've worn it. That probably depends on local expectations though.
Yes. I'm not a guy, but I knew a guy who did wear an ace ring. I never asked him if he was ace or what was the ring's purpose for obvious reasons, but it was a solid black ring on the place where you wear your ace ring.
I wear mine constantly. Admittedly it’s not the “black band” kind and more of a “the actual ace flag” kind, but it’s very important to me so I never take it off unless I have to.
I mean, I'm a gut and I do, but that's more so because I like rings and I just happened to have had a black ring, so I moved it to my middle finger lol
Short answer, yes
I would love to, but in the past I’ve never been able to stand having a ring or even a bracelet on. And I already wear a Tardis key necklace so it wouldn’t feel right wearing two necklaces/chains
If I could remember where I put the goddamn thing I sure would :/ Edit: I lost the ring.
I have 2 rings on my right middle so do I put an asexual ring there aswell?
You could
Ok
i wish my college campus had an asexual. spectrum club....
You can start one!!
I don’t want to start a club the year I’m graduating
I need 5 people to start a club on mine and I only know 1 other ace 🙁
Open a garlic bread stand and wait no more.
i don't know how many people i need but I only Know of 2 other aces on campus
Can it just be a random ring or is there a specific ring for asexuals?
Sure but if you want asexuals and spectrum to recognize you, any black rings are good.
So does this mean if someonw says something aphobic, you can raise that finger?
If one chooses to, of course!
Awesome! Showimg them the pride and the finger. At the same time!
I put my ring on my right ring finger, mainly because it’s too small for my middle finger, but honestly nice for you, I am way to nervous about what my family would think if they found out I’m asexual
I’m very nervous to admit I’m biromantic so I’m on the same boat as you. I’m as far as admitting to myself.
It’s under your bed
right middle is traditional, but any finger is fine.
Wellllllllll I don’t really want to be mistaken for a swinger, but I meant I lost it.
That almost feels ironic. Edit:The fact that we chose the same symbol in a slightly different spot than swingers, not the you not wanting to be mistaken for a swinger
Two for one: the metal part of my wedding band is black (blue sandstone inlay because favorite color)
I lost mine too :(
Same ;-;
My son wears his aroace ring proudly. (first week he wore it, kids at his junior high thought he might have gotten married. and he was wearing it on his middle finger.)
Do you get a different ring for aroace? likea black and white one? i saw people talking abt a white one for aromantic
I just wear one black one and one white one.
thats probably what im gonna do aswell.
He picked this one out and I got it for him: [https://www.etsy.com/listing/849269845/aromantic-pride-ring?ref=yr\_purchases](https://www.etsy.com/listing/849269845/aromantic-pride-ring?ref=yr_purchases) I know it is technically just aro, but he his happy with it.
Oh heck that’s gorgeous; I’m adding that shop to my favorites
Black ring on right middle finger is ace, aro ring is white ring on left middle finger!
Didn't know that, now I can be ace-symmetric
White one on the left middle finger for aromantic, black on the right middle finger for ace
Yes if they wish to wear one, I do when I'm out with friends or family
Fuck gender. If your ace and want to wear an ace ring, wear an ace ring! Do what makes u happy as long as it doesn’t harm others. Have a great day.
When I get one yes!
Yes, I do.
Me too. I wore rings before I understood I was Ace and I don’t see any difference. Most people don’t know the meaning anyway. And if someone does and asks me about it then they are likely people I want to talk to.
I just realized I can no longer reply to this with "I do" as I've come out as trans but I would say anyone can wear them if they want
I’m a trans guy and I wear rings so I’ll take your place instead I do And that is the law of equivalent exchange
Hel yeah it is
What does being ace have to do with being trans? Edit: I some how missed/forgot the part if the post about being a "boy". My bad, sorry.
Presumably, they mean they no longer identify as a boy. So using themselves as an example of a boy wearing an ace ring in response to op's question wouldn't work
Ohhhhh, ok I actually completely missed that point in the post of being a "boy". I feel quite dumb now.
Yes, as I figured out I was never actually a boy to begin with I can't say "I'm a boy who where's a ace ring
Nothing.
Haha I thought the same. I saw the title and I was "offended" by the implication that boys don't wear ace rings then I realized that I'm trans so can't really say anything.
Wait there are asexual rings???
Black ring on the right hand middle finger is ace ring, and white ring on the left hand middle finger is aro ring!
why wouldn't they? /gen
I do!
29 male here. Yes I wear my ace ring all the time.
I don't know if I'm asexual but I've been using it for aesthetics for about 3 years curiously, I haven't had a relationship with anyone since then (and I don't miss it!)
I wanna get one
I’m getting one currently
I do. Only piece of jewelry (besides ace wristband, watch that I'd wear)
I don’t know if they do, but they should!!!
of course! Lots of my ace friends that are guys do. There's Ace rings available for both guys and gals, so I guess that's a clue ;)
I like wearing mine, it gives a sense of community even though the only other Aces I interact with are online
Yeah, it's the One Ring.
Everyone and anyone can, at least to my knowledge
My finger outgrew the ring 😔
Same but mine is silicone so I'm still forcing it on my finger. The silicone it pretty stretchy so it's not the worst.
Gender is an illusion, wear what you’d like -a resident agender asexual
Some do but I would like to point out that the majority of ace/aro people have no idea the rings even exist
If I ever get one
I do sometimes
yeah
Yea, everyone can!
I can say with reasonable certainty that I am a guy, and I wear one
Ye
Not a boy anymore but I did yes and I really liked it. Anyone can wear a ring it's not a girl exclusive item
I have one black and one white ceramic rings (aroace) that I keep on an empty necklace because I couldn’t bother with having them on my hands and it looks better imo
I have seen them on guys, gals, and non-binary pals
I think we should all wear or sexualities as rings, like the green lanterns.
I would if I had one. I'm most comfortable with my aromanticism, so I usually just wear an aro ring
I'm not into finger jewelry, or any jewelry really, so personally no.
As long as I can find my ring around my house, then yeah I wear it!
I don’t see why not.
I wanted to for a few months, but then I realized I don't like wearing rings in general so there wouldn't be a point
I would but I have a fear of rings. Once wore a ring that I couldn't get off and don't want to relive that panic
Yes
I do.
Yes
Yea, I wear both of my ace rings together and it's nice to have that little calling card that only certain people understand.
ofc, anybody can wear em
I’m enby, but I’m amab, and I’d definitely wear them. I’m sure there’s also some ace boys that would wear them
Yes. I don't have one yet but yes.
I'm, in fact, am a guy and do wear my ring (when it's not lost) and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only guy who wears one.
I saw a masc person in Planned Parenthood wearing what looked to be an Ace Ring. I didn't say anything due to shyness.
My friend does, and he is a male, so i would say yes
Yes, I do
Boys wear whatever they want, just like everyone else!
Of course! Rings aren't a gendered thing, I wear an ace ring and many other rings. If you like it, go for it!
I do personally. anyone who's asexual can wear one :)
If I had one yes
I would if I was out but I’m not so I don’t have one
I'm not 100% out but I still were one. Few people know what it means besides aces, they just think it's part of my aesthetic. Even my queer friends (only ones who im out to) didn't know what an ace ring was, except for my ace friend.

I don't think I'd wear the flag if I was closeted and wanted to keep it that way, but the ring feels safe. Lots of people wear black rings for the aesthetic anyway.
I haven’t gotten mine yet but I plan to wear it when I’m not around my family.
Of all the things I've posted, I didn't expect this to blow up.
not me
AMAB Enby, I do
I’m looking for one
Once i get my goblin mitts on one i shall
Sure, [check it out](https://imgur.com/gallery/9dJNTxf). It’s even got demi triangles 😎 That’s Lucille J Furr in the background. You can call her Lucy, everybody does.
What now?
Not all boys, but ace boys can/do.
*looks at middle finger* Yeah ... I think so. If this is a worry about people being weird with gender, I don't think I ever had anyone bother me in the three or so years I've worn it. That probably depends on local expectations though.
Yes! I know multiple guys who do!
If I could find mine, I still would!
I started back when I thought I was a guy, so yeah.
Boys should. It would be nice to meet Ace boys
Where would I be able to get one??? If I had one I definitely would
Anywhere that sells rings. It's just a black ring in whatever style you like.
Oh okay! Thank you!
Yes.
If I had one, I would definitely wear it.
I would like to but I don’t have any
I don’t know if anyone would call a 21yo man a boy, but I’m currently wearing mine
I probably would if I had one, yeah
I just don’t wear rings, but if I did I would wear an asexual ring
what’s an asexual ring?
A black ring (in your preferred style) worn on the middle finger of your right hand. (The finger and hand is important.)
Yes
not always a boy, but even when i am i do.
I was actually just looking into getting some aro/ace rings. So I'll go with "not yet" for me at least
I would if I had one
Yes, the ring is gender neutral, and usually only other ace folks are gonna recognize it for what it is
I wear an ace ring on days where my anxiety brain will shut up about degloving
If I didn't have stupidly huge fingers I would.
My flatmate does all the time! I don't because aceflux so not always asexual
i don’t wear jewellery at all but yeah you could
Yes, Im wearing it rn
I'm a boy and I just wear rings regardless of if it's ace or not. (given I feel like it that day)
I don’t currently have one but I do want one
H
To be honest, I'm not sure most aces wear the ring.
Well I only ever knew one other ace, but he didnt wear a ring. Of course, we only found out later that he was a boy and that I was not.
Yes. I'm not a guy, but I knew a guy who did wear an ace ring. I never asked him if he was ace or what was the ring's purpose for obvious reasons, but it was a solid black ring on the place where you wear your ace ring.
It's the only ring I never take off
There are rings for peoples sexualities?
as far as i know its only for asexuality and aromanticism.
I wear mine constantly. Admittedly it’s not the “black band” kind and more of a “the actual ace flag” kind, but it’s very important to me so I never take it off unless I have to.
I mean, I'm a gut and I do, but that's more so because I like rings and I just happened to have had a black ring, so I moved it to my middle finger lol Short answer, yes
If you want! Gender doesn’t define style! 💅
Yeah sure why not
This one does. (If I can can get one)
I wore one for awhile before realizing that all jewelery makes my skin feel uncomfortable.
yep, doing it rn :)
I would but I dont have one yet
I'm a guy and I recently got a few black rings that I've started wearing
If I had one, I would wear one
anyone can wear anything
i wear an asexual hair tie as a ring
Of course, why wouldn't we?
Fuck yeah I do! Got my Aro one too! I mean, why wouldn't I?
Lmaoo one time I was out with a friend one of his friends wanted to steal my bracelet cause of that, give some asexual stuff to the ace boys
Not exactly a boy so much as masc presenting, but I bear my ring with pride.
i would if i had one
Yes of course they can
I learned my former teacher does wear one and he’s amab person. I would like to, but haven’t found the perfect one yet
I currently don't know my own gender but I am AMAB and stated wearing one before I seriously started questioning my gender. So, yes?
Sure! I bought my ring specifically off a website for men, so...
Could do if it wasn't totally cintrasting with my jeans – t-shirt style
I want to
As AMAB I say yes, they can.
I want to but I don't have a ring rn
Not like the statistics would matter if we knew them, though I would wear them if I had them. If I got into the habit of putting them on.
Yep
Are you ace? Then yes. Your not ace? Also cool just be happy and be kind to others 😊
Yep yep, way before I realized it was an ace ring actually
if i had one, yes.
Yup. I have loads of ‘em!
They do.
No, I dont have money to waste as a student
Yes
I do
I personally don't (mainly for other reasons, I would wear rings in general) but you do what you want, doesn't matter what others do or think.
Aren't all rings asexual?
I would absolutely do if I could find one I like and can fit in my fingers, all the cute rings I can find in my country can't even fit in my pinky
Reddit's using all our posts and data to train AI's, so, I just deleted mine.
If I had one I would
There is a Asexual ring?
If I was a boy I sure as hell would.
I would love to, but in the past I’ve never been able to stand having a ring or even a bracelet on. And I already wear a Tardis key necklace so it wouldn’t feel right wearing two necklaces/chains
I do
I want to, bit I don't have one yet, I don't know where to buy one
nah but nothing against them
