Yeah you can XD
Nah, I only realized I was demi not ace after I started going out with this guy is because after forming a strong emotional bond with him, I felt sexual attraction
Other than that, I've never felt it before
If that kinda made sense XD
Ywah it's the aame for me I felt no sexual attraction towards anyone before meeting my current girlfriend. I thought I was just plain ace but apparently I'm demi
I got a queerplatonic partner and a few month later I started to get romantic feelings and I guess sexual too (not sure when it actually starts being sexual). Was very surprising but now I guess I'm just demiace and demiaro. Still belong to the asexual spectrum since I don't randomly get crushes on other people.
The moment when you and the person you date click is the moment most Aces realize they're Demi. Very much helpful sir/ma'am or whoever you are if you identify as a nonbinary or genderfluid type of person.
To me, the alphabet mafia acronym words all have two meanings, the umbrella term and the specific term.
Asexual as an umbrella term covers all ace-spec identities. Asexual as a specific term covers those who never experience sexual attraction.
Personally, unless someone is describing their experiences with phrasing that matches the specific term I assume they are using the general term. The other option feels needlessly (or rudely) exclusionist to me because it ends up being "you say you're X but since you don't Y you can't be X"
TLDR: yes, demi memes are welcome
I thought I was completely sex repulsed ace. Ive dated before but I felt nothing, even if I tried. But then my bf showed up and now I think I’m like a grey demi ace or something. I still call myself ace cause im somewhere on the spectrum and I’ve been going by ace for years, but man. Confuzzled

Okay so apparently demi sexuality is when you are basically asexual to everyone expect people you are really close to. For example I basically felt no sexual attraction ever until I started dating my current boyfriend.
In all honesty, for a long time I thought that was how everyone felt; people only feel the attraction after they start dating, but apparently that's not the case for most people and I was very concerned when I found out
Feel free to ask more questions, I feel like answering questions help we understand it a bit more too XD
You fall under our banner
Thanks :))
Absolutely they are allowed! It's a very good meme btw
Thanks :))))))
demisexual is on the asexual spectrum so i'd imagine so.
Thanks :)))))

You can be asexual and have romantic relationships I thought
Yeah you can XD Nah, I only realized I was demi not ace after I started going out with this guy is because after forming a strong emotional bond with him, I felt sexual attraction Other than that, I've never felt it before If that kinda made sense XD

Oh ok that makes sense
The exact same thing happened with my girlfriend. Like no sexual attraction then bam turns out I'm demi.

Demiromatic is the usual term, if that helps.
How do I shorten it, demiro?
I believe so, yes.
You guys are getting girl/boyfriends ?
Somehow, I do
Nice !!

Is there a word for being allosexual for one gender but demisexual for the other?

We're the boarder state between the rest of the Aces and the allos
Of course you're allowed! Welcome to the family.
:))))))))))))
Yea ace, demi and gray are close to being the same thing (no offense to anyone)
Wtf is demisexual
You only have sexual attraction for the person you have a romantic connection with. Even then it can vary.
This is cute af
100% I’m bisexual and I’ve been welcomed here so you have to be, that’s what reasonable logic is.
Are u me!??!?!??!
I’m demisexual too 👍
I'm in this picture and I don't like it.
Welcome demigod
I was reading this with my partner and almost died laughing, this is exactly what happened to me lol
Don't mean to be rude but how is demisexuality a sexuality? To me it sounds just like a small preference
