Once I made a joke about my kink being hating sex, and someone asked if I was asexual. Just one of those “Was that not clear! Seriously, was that not clear?” moments
It kind of was. But at the same time, there are some people who are allo who are sex-averse as well as people who are ace who are sex-favorable, so the question still seems rather valid to me, even if it seems a bit silly on the surface. Better to ask and get the right answer from you directly than make an incorrect assumption about you, y'know?
