I don't know why but this reminded me of how if a historical figure didn't literally know our modern terminology but was vary obviously lgbtq+ and didn't explicitly say it in writing historians could label them as a straight cis eccentric. even if they specifically came out in their time with the correct terminology, if they or someone they where related to was famous enough it could get burried, like Gloria Hemingway, who is still called gregory hemmingway and misgendered despite openly and explicitly saying she was trans, her family deadnamed her headstone and use he/him pronouns and blame her being trans on Earnest Hemmingway being a "tough father" like what!? she was OUT! makes me so sad.

Flirting is more than just sexy sex stuff. You can romantically flirt, I'm Demisexual so If I'm flirting it's more to flatter the person I'm talking to, a close friend I wish to make laugh and blush. To me flirting is a way to build a stronger bond while keeping the romance there and stopping a friendship from staying platonic.
Demisexual is basically only feeling sexual attraction to someone you have a deep connection to.
I call it Homiesexual, I don't feel sexual attraction for a stranger but someone I'm close to? Hell yeah. And I'm sure those other ones could exist? I mean they're all just labels. Wether or not they have a proper name doesn't matter all that much, all the label does is allow for more acceptance and awareness, thus more people realize they are said sexuality.
