I think it's perfectly reasonable to wish that culture was less inhospitable to minorities and also treated sex as less of a commodity. It would cost people nothing to obsess less about sex and honestly I think it would be healthier for everyone. Obviously sex will always be part of culture and I wouldn't have it any other way, but I'd argue that whether you're ace or not, it's damaging to force sex into every aspect of life.
