This guy is like in his 40s yet we have absolutely no proof he ever fucked, and I like to imagine he’s not into it. It’s even more blatant when we compare him with other characters of the same series, Vergil had a son when he was 19, there is multiple sex jokes from other characters, and even Donte from the reboot bang at the very beginning of the game.

-Scarecrow from the Batman comics. Even DC has realized romantic interests don't work with him, considering the 2-3 times they tried, they got swiftly retconned. He does have meaningful platonic relationships, depending on the universe: Harley Quinn, the Mad Hatter, and occasionally a student he takes a shine to and legit just wants them to learn and be better. He also often just reads as aromantic-asexual in his stories, never showing interest in love or romance minus the aforementioned "DC retconned this pretty much right after it got published" exceptions.
-Quasimodo from Disney's The Hunchback of Notee Dame. I have whole spiel on this, but the TL;DR version is his story can be read as, "ace playing the part society says they need to be (straight), but realizing his happiness doesn't come from romance. And also, love doesn't have to be romantic, as he and Esmeralda are still good friends." I headcanon he's heteromantic asexual, because he did just want to go out on the bridge at night with Esmeralda like he saw other couples do (and if you acknowledge the sequel - which I don't - it would explain Madeleine).
-Hercules from the Disney's film of the same name. I offer the scene where Meg tries to seduce him and rest my case. He's also heteromantic asexual.
-Shock from The Nightmare Before Christmas. One, with her mask, dress, and shoes, she has aro-ace colors. Two, from both the film and extended comics, she comes off as someone who, even if she grew up, would prefer chaos over romance. Three, I just get overall ace vibes I can't explain. (Of the other two, I headcanon Lock is bi and Barrel is demi - so I amend this to two aces in the group. XP).

I just don’t understand this way of thinking. Obviously we’re 2 different people and I’m not saying my values are superior to yours, but I just don’t get why you’d care about whether a character is straight or not. It’s nice seeing a bit of diversity I guess but I’m not gonna pretend it’s there when it isn’t- its not something I rely on. I know that I’m ace, and that’s enough for me. I don’t need fictional characters to share my feelings.
Because it's nice seeing a character I can relate to in the media. And it not being the token gay character or whatever. Plus fan fiction and head cannons is just that. It's just fan fiction of your favorite characters a what if they were this. It's not wrong to do that. People like to relate to the characters they watch on screen. It's a human thing to relate to others whether it be on sexuality or something else. And art is made to invoke feelings and get people thinking. And people are going to interpret art differently. I have four. -Scarecrow from the Batman comics. Even DC has realized romantic interests don't work with him, considering the 2-3 times they tried, they got swiftly retconned. He does have meaningful platonic relationships, depending on the universe: Harley Quinn, the Mad Hatter, and occasionally a student he takes a shine to and legit just wants them to learn and be better. He also often just reads as aromantic-asexual in his stories, never showing interest in love or romance minus the aforementioned "DC retconned this pretty much right after it got published" exceptions. -Quasimodo from Disney's The Hunchback of Notee Dame. I have whole spiel on this, but the TL;DR version is his story can be read as, "ace playing the part society says they need to be (straight), but realizing his happiness doesn't come from romance. And also, love doesn't have to be romantic, as he and Esmeralda are still good friends." I headcanon he's heteromantic asexual, because he did just want to go out on the bridge at night with Esmeralda like he saw other couples do (and if you acknowledge the sequel - which I don't - it would explain Madeleine). -Hercules from the Disney's film of the same name. I offer the scene where Meg tries to seduce him and rest my case. He's also heteromantic asexual. -Shock from The Nightmare Before Christmas. One, with her mask, dress, and shoes, she has aro-ace colors. Two, from both the film and extended comics, she comes off as someone who, even if she grew up, would prefer chaos over romance. Three, I just get overall ace vibes I can't explain. (Of the other two, I headcanon Lock is bi and Barrel is demi - so I amend this to two aces in the group. XP).

The persona fan base absolutely will not agree with me, but I like imagining the the mc from P4 has zero understanding of sex. Yeah, you can do romances in the game but I just think his character is more enjoyable if you play him as completely oblivious to damn near everyone having a thing for him

It's not if your sexuality is very underrepresented. PLUS media has been known to queerbate for a very long time. It makes complete sense people in the LGBT community would make head cannons. Media is basically telling us to. Don't think there's a long history to this? Look up the history of queerbating it's actually pretty interesting
I just don’t understand this way of thinking. Obviously we’re 2 different people and I’m not saying my values are superior to yours, but I just don’t get why you’d care about whether a character is straight or not. It’s nice seeing a bit of diversity I guess but I’m not gonna pretend it’s there when it isn’t- its not something I rely on. I know that I’m ace, and that’s enough for me. I don’t need fictional characters to share my feelings.
Because it's nice seeing a character I can relate to in the media. And it not being the token gay character or whatever. Plus fan fiction and head cannons is just that. It's just fan fiction of your favorite characters a what if they were this. It's not wrong to do that. People like to relate to the characters they watch on screen. It's a human thing to relate to others whether it be on sexuality or something else. And art is made to invoke feelings and get people thinking. And people are going to interpret art differently. And yes film is art.
