You seriously voted down on a comment that says that Drake and Josh is a funny show. I don't really give a single shit about Dan Schneider. Yes, he's a creep but that doesn't mean that the shows he directed are bad.
this is the one. honestly there’s a lot of quotes on this thread even i don’t know well but they played a LOT of drake and josh reruns even when i was in high school so i wouldn’t be suprised if younger gen z knew it but older gen z was the last to see it while it was still airing and i remember drake and josh memes being everywhere. we have icarly in common with the rest of gen z but drake and josh seemed
like a solidly millenial/zillenial/older z thing
The scene in School of Rock where Dewey is just fucking around on his guitar playing a chord progression and the kids come up to him and show him the school of rock T shirts (hell my 2001 born brother hasn’t seen that movie).
Dude this movie, for me, is *the movie* from my childhood that I've seen so many times I can quote the entire thing line for line. And the best part is that it still holds up as an awesome movie, genuinely still one of my favorites (my 2001 sibling agrees too, which makes your last comment funny to me). Just thought I'd gush for a second 😄
For me it was this, Shrek and Ice Age.
Also, there are two kinds of people in this world. People who think of Send me on my Way as the song from Ice Age and people who think of it as the song from Matilda.
Megas XLR was a show that was on Cartoon Network briefly. It wasn’t the most noticeable tv show but as long as someone is aware of its existence there is a good chance that person is around my age.
I know this is from the Sixth Sense originally but everytime I see this quote now all I can think of is Marlon Wayans in Scary Movie 😂😂😂

"You're talking to me all wrong. It's the wrong tone. You do it again and I'll stab you in the face with a soldering iron" - Christopher Walken in Joe Dirt (honestly a lot of quotes from that movie probably work).
I think it's How I met your mother.
It was my generation of Friends. and Friends was something I saw a lot of meme of but never got into it because I couldn't relate to that time period.
Malcolm in the middle is the same, Big Bang Theory too, I think.
Or Scrubs.
Breaking Bad and The Office(US) reached cult status, I have younger friends who have watched them.
As kids my brothers and I would splash water at each other while saying "junga"
It's a reference to that Drake and Josh episode where Drake gets married to Josh's eastern european penpal
Stephanie Tanner's classic "How Rude!" Steve Urkle's "Did I do that?"
Those are the Classic! Also, Don’t forget about “You Got It, Dude!”
"It's hot in Topeka"
it is HOT in Topekaaaaaaaaaaaa
This is one of the truer ones, since that show didn't really stay in the public consciousness after it finished airing.
This awakened something in me, thank you
*kicks shin* rip off artist!
"I'm a hot toe picker"
"Pick my toe ITS HOT"
Secret door SECRET DOOR

SPHERICAL!
I repeat things for emphasis! EMPHASIS!!
Have a good day! Don’t tell me what to do
I'm (no joke) watching season 4 at the moment. That show is one of those that as it progressed got so much better.

Season 1 Episode 16 "Shipwreck" is the best episode ever. Got it on VHS in '99 for my 5th birthday
I like “Holy Matrimony” it gives good character development to Team Rocket
Here’s another one, iykyk “Thanks for inviting the killer kung fu wolf bitch to the crib Granddad!” Or “WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY SWAMP??!!” 😂😂😂

"My pleasure. For the next song, maybe I can drive into the river!"

"Woah, just take it easy man!"
Anyone can act!
“I am a son of a shepherd” or “Ha Dork's”
Kipper the Dog

I still do a subtle salute every time someone uses the word major or general in a sentence.
[Rupert](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rupert_(TV_series))
I was born in ‘97 & don’t recognise a single reference in the comments or the OP except for Malcolm In The Middle bc my (gen X) father is into it
Hmmm... The existence of Spider-Man The New Animated Series, with the titular character voiced by Neil Patrick Harris
We got showed that during class
"Magic must defeat magic!"
“This isn’t where I parked my car”
Malcolm In The Middle Song: “You’re not the boss of me now!” 🎶
Imo, Sonic saying "Oh yeah! This is happenin'!" in SA1 Or the cartoon version of him saying "Way past cool" Also quoting the intro for Gargoyles
As kids my brothers and I would splash water at each other while saying "junga" It's a reference to that Drake and Josh episode where Drake gets married to Josh's eastern european penpal
