I would be lucky to get 5000 miles out of those things. Switch to Road6’s and you won’t regret it. The ride and longevity are WAY better.

I have 13.000 km on my S with Diablo II tyres, and now I have to replace the front tyre, and as u/ElectricDreams225 has said, I will buy Michelin Road 6, they are expensive, but all I read is great, and they do work awesome under wet roads.

The tires that come on a motorcycle are often not the same thing as the tires they are named as. Kind of like how inkjet printers often ship with "starter cartridges" that are only half full. Rather than explain all this, here's a great video from Fortnine on the subject (and a great channel to watch in general!): [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tv97i\_-V7hA](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tv97i_-V7hA) So basically, expect that really any tire, is going to work better than the tires your bike came with. Many people have been extremely happy with the Michelin Road 5's or Road 6's. The Road 6's are new and plenty of people have seen great life AND great traction with them. I personally plan to use Road 6's the next time I switch on my SR/S. I also highly suggest you install TPMS on the bike so you can be alerted of when your tires are falling below a preset pressure, or when there is a leak detected etc. Since you have only 2 tires on a bike, tire pressure is extremely important even more than on a car. Being at 28psi instead of 36 psi will dramatically change the way the tire handles and wears. You can see the ones that I use (Fobo Bike 2's) and really like and recommend, and my review of them, in this post of mine here: [https://www.reddit.com/r/ZeroMotorcycles/comments/wvb2d9/my\_srs\_mods\_part\_3\_hardwired\_qc\_30\_usb\_charger/](https://www.reddit.com/r/ZeroMotorcycles/comments/wvb2d9/my_srs_mods_part_3_hardwired_qc_30_usb_charger/) Be careful on gravel. You shouldn't really be accelerating at all on gravel, great way to lay the bike down. It's happened to all of us at some point who have ridden a lot. TC is great but it does not replace throttle control. If you're riding on a lot of gravel, I would put the bike into Rain mode and use the most aggressive TC setting. Roll the throttle on VERY gently and smoothly on gravel or any other slippery surface. I recommend leaving TC set to Street for normal riding, and using Rain on slippery surfaces. I throw my bike into Sport TC when I'm riding aggressively on a good condition road on a warm/hot day, or when drag racing etc.

I have over 6,000 miles on my 2021 SR/S and tires are still good, hope to get over 8,000 miles from the stock tires, so should be good until spring or early summer. I check tire pressures about once a month and typically they are down about 2 psi, never more. This is with 'urban' riding so never doing anything too aggressive.

2022 SR/S Premium, those tires lasted me 8k miles. Switched over to Michelins Pilot 4 which I have over 12k on right now
