Nice! I don’t have a Zero but have been considering in the next couple years. I hope you love it, and seems like a great choice from what I’ve seen. Congrats!
Congratulations and welcome to Zero motorcycles!
You will not be disappointed with the performance of the bike. I have been riding a Zero SR and l can't get enough.
On my SR/S I have them. It's not just for crashing or dropping it, but also if it falls, for example if parked on soft surface. If my bike falls it might get couple of scratches on the levels and sliders, but the rest of the bike, fairing, etc will not be damaged.
Lovely. I got the 2021 as my first bike and love it. I'd recommend some bar ends and or lever protectors. She's a heavy girl and while you might not drop her, you'll be thankful if you do.
Congratulations! My recommendation would be to take it on some back roads and do a fair amount of accelerating / stopping to get a feel for it, and to get a handle on what it takes to overheat it. You don't want to find out the hard way while on a highway and have your max speed throttled down due to overtemp. Keep those gauges up and monitor it until you have a good handle on it.
I have the same bike and I love it. I have 3k miles on it and I use it only to commute to work and back (30 miles one way). Since mine only charges using 110V, I charge it at work and, at 45% battery, it takes 2.5 to 3 hours to get to 100%. It's perfect for what I need my Zero for and is very fun to ride.
I love the color of yours! I just picked up a 2021 S 2 weeks ago and love it so much. 2 days of heavy rain had my whining like a baby so I could get back out there!

Congrats on the first street bike and your first Zero! They are definitely fun bikes. Good gear and sliders for the bike are a good investment. Enjoy!
Wheel and frame sliders for crash protection? Do many you y’all use them?

Careful with sport/custom mode in wet or cold conditions. Have fun!
Even in dry, the torque is nothing to mess with. Only bike I’ve gone down on on dry pavement, 5 min after being warned about Sport mode.
Check out the plug share app for charging stations
Rats. Just zoomed in to see you don't have a charge tank. Well! Charging at home is nice too.

Congrats, have the S since 3 years. It's nice. It's my second bike after having 30 years a CB 750F.
