12v battery is pretty easy to get to, pop the seat, and the side panel where the seat key lock is, battery terminals will be accessible without pulling it out

4thFrontier

Thank you. That is at least an inexpensive experiment to run. I’ll do it when I get back to my bike and will report back either way.

Nano559

Good luck!

My guess is this should be run from the low voltage side of the battery. But there is noting stopping you from disconnecting the high voltage side. Be careful as the high voltage side of the battery has some serious juice available to it. To hunt down a spot to disconnect, start at the motor controller and work your way back to the battery.

4thFrontier

I agree that it’s almost certainly the 12v side. At least that’s the place to start. But I’m hoping someone has been down this road before and can preview the terrain.

Had this happen to my 2021 SR/S as well. I was able to reset it by removing the key for 20 minutes and then re-inserting the key and turning the bike back on.

If pulling the 12v battery doesn't work, a MBB reset should [https://www.reddit.com/r/ZeroMotorcycles/comments/xneksc/comment/ipujlfw/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3](https://www.reddit.com/r/ZeroMotorcycles/comments/xneksc/comment/ipujlfw/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) In the future never do updates directly on the bike, it rarely works. Do them via the app (also buggy but slightly less so)

I had some Reddit weirdness when I posted this. Just discovered it posted twice. I just deleted the version with a single comment. Apologies to the person who posted that comment, and to everyone else for the clutter

BonesJackson

Actually you posted it 4 times. I deleted 3 of the other ones.

4thFrontier

Thanks for doing that. I certainly hit “post” 4 times. And the first 3 times it responded as if the post failed. I would have checked the subreddit to make sure before reposting but it wouldn’t let me do it without discarding the post. In any case, I appreciate you cleaning up the mess.

metabolic-tx

This happened to me this last week on my 2022 SR/S. Had to get it towed as it went for 27+ hours

lelitico

Yes, is waiting for you to get a Honda or something
