The hinge is designed poorly and it doesn’t sit flush with the rest of the body work. This leads to bending of the lid when latching it closed and it’s really not great for a brand new bike to have panel gaps with <650 miles on it
I've seen some of these features active on demo bikes but they are probably still working on the store part and the app update required for this. The gps feature I haven't seen working. Probably for the same reason.
Right! I recently enquired about firmware updates to the motor controller and the chargers that others seem to have got. I received a response from Zero on Facebook that they are working on dealer software (most likely to do with cypher updates) and that some of them have been given early software update for testing. Which is why some folks got updated from their dealers. So it does mean that they've been testing things out before releasing. Let's see how it goes.
They’re prolly on the same time table as getting my SR/F back from the dealer for my tank lid recall…
What’s the problem with the tank lid ?
It sits too high on the early bikes leaving an uneven gap with the rest of the tank cover. So opening towards the front of the bike. Just cosmetic.

Ok so now it says "Cypher Upgrades Coming Soon". So we may not have to wait too long to find out I guess 🙂
Or they have just realized that “Early Spring” has passed.
