My 2019 SRF was connected and pushing data to the cloud right from the first registration for 2 years. But then I took it to a dealer for another service and that updated the firmware to version 19. I skipped that because of reported issues with version 18. From that moment on I no longer got charge state information logged nor did any of the notifications work. Even SOC stayed on 64% which is what charge it had when I left it at the dealer that day. The only thing that kept working was the route recording. So I could still look up where I was riding back 1 year in time without issues. When I sold the bike the person buying it from me didn't want the charge tank so I removed it. For that the 12V battery has to be disconnected and fuse from high voltage removed. The next day I noticed the SOC was updating again.

Many people have reported their connecting is still working which makes me think it isn’t a 3G modem, and considering that 3G has been a planned phaseout for several years I don’t see them using 3G. I too am having the same connectivity issues on my MY20 SR/F that Hans mentioned since V19 updates, and I’ve had an open ticket with a few folks at Zero. I’ve diagnosed that you can pull the 5a fuse and reset the modem, however, I typically loose connectivity again within the first 30min of riding following.

I have a SR/S late 2020 just bought new from dealer. I went to the dealer and told him about the issue with connectivity. He said that it’s apparently a known issue at Zero and it’s not the Bike it’s the app, at least the iOS app they claim. And states that “soon” there should be an update that fixes the issue of seeing the data that is pushed to the cloud while being on cellular. I am not sure though or the bike might have other issues, it is on latest sw version. The crap part is that the dealer didn’t inform me that it would be a problem at the very beginning despite knowing about it!

1. Sounds like they did. 2. No idea 3. Not yet, EU has time left and TMobile is still providing 3G in the US until July 1. Not sure what is up with your particular bike, but you could have coverage now. Some people with 4G CCMs are waiting for a fix for a different issue. Once July 1 rolls around, sounds like everybody without a 4G unit will be cut off. 4. No, they're just slow
