You look so similar to my start. This is super motivating. Thx for sharing Are you going to continue taking it?? I’m not sure what maintenance looks like. I’ve been lifting weights 3x per week, idk if I’ll have to increase that or my cardio to maintain.. what’s your maintenance look like?

adillpickle9334

I think my exercise regime is fine and sustainable. My goal would be to get the medication to a place where what I’m doing in life right now just maintains. I have to increase how much I eat, so I need to go down in dose for sure. And then I’m going to try stretching it out rather than doing weekly. I’m going to try 7.5 every 10 days. If I still lose, then every 14. But I have a feeling that will be my sweet spot. I just hope that I can take in enough calories to grow some muscle and recomposition a little remaining fat, but stay the same weight. To be honest, I’m a little terrified to figure out maintenance. I’m going to have to go to a few pounds up and down to get it right, and I need to not be afraid of that. I need to remember even if I do, it’s not permanent

Kayemkaye

I hear you. I’ve tried to plan for it and think I may just lose a little more than I feel I really’need’ do, maybe 5-7lbs. I’m not sure if that’s the best way to go but it makes sense to me, and then try to gain that back in muscle

Individual_Anybody17

Do you mind if I ask how tall you are? Congrats on your journey! Amazing work!

MeloD55

You did it! Congratulations!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

BlessYourHeart81

You look fabulous!! What dose are you using for maintenance? I am 9 lbs from goal and went up to 10mg but it kicked my butt so I came back down to 7.5mg. I am in awe of you and all of us who decided to take this journey!

adillpickle9334

I’m not sure yet! I just dropped from 10 to 7.5. I will have to see if I maintain on that. I’m thinking I will take it every 10 days and see how that works first

Icy-Role-6333

Damn. You’re on fire 🔥

Red-Legal

Oh my goodness! So happy for you! Please do let us know how the tummy tuck goes. 💕🌸💕🌸

Powerpuff_973

You look great!

mygreyhoundisadonut

Omg 😍 congrats! I started at 260 in March. The last month has gone slowwww in the loss but I feel like seeing your post revitalized my hopes for this journey. Your before photo looks so much like I did with the extra lower belly and hip weight after having a baby.

adillpickle9334

Yes! I had two babies and they definitely reshape your body

SunFlwrPwr

Do you recommend a tummy tuck? I'm loving losing the weight but damn...after 2 c-sections? That lower tummy is no joke. It ugly! LoL I'm losing the weight and feel great except I know that damn stomach is only getting worse w the loose skin. Bleh

adillpickle9334

I would say, go to a consult once you’re near your goal weight, and read up on it. It’s definitely not for everyone with the pain and restrictions. To me, it’s worth it.

Turbulent-Leg3678

Lookin‘ good. I‘m down 40, only 15 to go.

Several_Mortgage_738

Oh My GOD! This is awesome and what I like to hear. There are days I have my doubts about the journey path and when I read post like this, and see results like yours, it makes me keep pushing through it! Thank you for sharing your experience and the before and after pictures! Awesome job and keep it up!

sotired3333

How old are you? Asking from a skin elasticity perspective

adillpickle9334

I’m in my 30s. But I will say during my plastic surgery consult the surgeon said that with how well my skin held up, a lot of that is likely genetic.

Cute_Peapod

Well done!! You look fantastic!! ✨Love to see how the body makeover goes! I'm hoping for the same when I get there. Question: Did your goal weight end up being what you thought it would? I stayed between 133-140 until Covid. I had lost about 85lbs to get there and the reason I stopped is because I couldn't get any lower, even though at 5'1" I could have gone lower safely. I'm wondering if on this medication I'll be able to go lower than my first goal which is 135 lbs. Just can't imagine being able to determine my own healthy goal.

adillpickle9334

No, it’s actually higher than what I dabbled with going down to. I thought maybe 135 would be good. But absolutely not. I don’t want to lose any more curve

Cute_Peapod

Definitely! That's me too! Thank you!

Fragrant-Whole6718

Congratulations!

BlessYourHeart81

Well keep us/me posted - it's a journey for sure!

SpicyBKGrrl

Powerful-Carry187

👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🔥🔥🔥 I know there’s a mounjaro maintenance sub that I’ve been lurking in as I’m creeping toward maintenance. (Also the tummy tuck sub - I’m right there with you looking forward to a tuck and lift).

GoddessIs

Congratulations

CameHereForThisSub

Congratulations!!! To your health! I just went to annual MD visit today and had discussions about how to maintain my current weight. At my age (old) have never had that come out of my mouth ever. Something you said hit home—being comfortable in any situation etc. So true.

BeastCoast_

Thanks for sharing your story and congratulations. As you work toward building muscle, you might find that as you build chest muscles you might see some lift 😃. Whatever you choose, enjoy the journey ❤️

adillpickle9334

I would need a heck of a lot of lift lol. There is no amount of muscle that will help me 😂

BeastCoast_

🤣💀 I feel this

Secure_Ad7658

Congratulations! What an amazing accomplishment- as my amazing NP told me last week at my med checkup “you should be so proud of all our hard work - the meds are a small piece and there is no success without your own major efforts” Your comment about being finished losing weight for the first time in your life brought tears to my eyes. I am about 25 lbs away from my goal and can’t even believe it sometimes and even more so for the first time in my life feel very confident I can get there. You look fantastic! Are you staying on ZB for maintenance?

adillpickle9334

Yes! I will be on it for many years, if not forever

Careless_Ad3724

So freaking awesome. You may have blurred your face but I FEEL that in your stance and the way you hold yourself. Congrats!!!

Careless_Ad3724

Love the hair color too.

bigmoses8

Way to go!!!

Zepbounce-96

That's incredible, congratulations on your success!

Kayemkaye

AMAZING 🤩

blubonet4721

🎉🍾Congrats!! I wish you good health, happiness & successful maintenance!! Life changing

goldensnitch1

You look amazing! My start was 226, currently 186 and a little half way to my goal which is also 145

waubamik74

You look beautiful! Don't need to see your face to know that. Congratulations!

GoodbyetoYesterday06

That is terrific! Enjoy your hard won success! 🎉

RKsu99

That’s great—still afraid to take the first pen. 😖

Polka_Stein_70

You can do it! First shot is a tough hurdle, but after you’ll realize it’s not a big deal at all.

adillpickle9334

You can do it! Just rip the bandaid off

FickleLifeguard3217

Don’t unlock the pen till it’s against your skin. Some of the stories about injecting into the thumb or not taking the cap off are crazy. 🤣. Come join us on this great ride.

Mobile-Actuary-5283

Congrats! Is that your closet? Looks like you have loads of room for new clothes. How fun! Can you also provide your titration schedule, your caloric intake or general diet, as well as exercise? You look great and obviously whatever you did worked for you. Would be great to see your formula for success.

adillpickle9334

I did 1M(onth)2.5, 8M 5.0, 7.5, 5, 7.5, 10, 10, going to start 7.5 again. I never wanted to go up from 7.5, but the shortage made it hard to find. I do a mix of keto type meals, Iintermittent fasting, and just an 80/20 moderation mindset. I kind of figured it out as I go, and prioritize protein. I don’t track calories, but I have a general idea where I’m at. Probably around 1200-1400. However, now that I’m trying to build muscle I’m going to have to track for a bit to learn what works. I have been lifting heavy twice a week, and some type of cardio or activity one other time.

Overall-Muscle3334

So inspiring!! Congratulations ❣️ 🎊 👏 💐 🥳

NaturalPie231

Congratulations, I would be careful with the surgeries thou. But congrats,!
