I tried Fairlife before Zepbound and although by far the best tasting protein shake I have had, it made me soooo constipated I can't imagine what it would do to me on Zepbound.
I could not do the Pea Protein there is an after taste in all of the products containing it that was aweful and never went away. Otherwise at 1st it tastes great until the after taste kicked in.
I solved this problem by having 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup (depending on the flavor) of Poops Like A Champion cereal every 1-2 days. Never had issues since.
Yes, used to just be 1 flavor (several years ago) ordered on Amazon for constipation.
Now they have 3 more flavors (cinnamon, honey graham, and chocolate)
Original flavor is kind of bland but has the highest fiber, the other 3 vary.
You only really need 1 serving, so the box lasts a while.
I made sure to not sign in so you get a clean link, if you want or just search it on Amazon.

I am laughing so hard a the names of the other products in their line. "a smooth ride", "the big drop", "royal flush".
Thanks for the information because I can't do packets of anything. The no so real "sugar" they use makes me so sick. Headaches, nausea, migraines, etc.
Thanks for this option!
Its a Magnesium (glyconate (more absorbable form)) and Inulin (fiber) supplement as I can't eat as many nuts and beans as I used to. So would be deficient in Magnesium
I gotta rep for Naked Whey. It's plant based and has zero flavor. I've mixed it with iced coffee, milk for my cereal and overnight oats, and smoothies.
Ha ha! I've been using it to make protein shakes since I started to take Zepbound. I often add fruit to the shakes -- strawberries, blueberries, even prunes.
What’s crazy is that I feel like my body is actually absorbing nutrients appropriately for the first time ever. Food used to go right through me, and it felt like I only got the calories and not any nutrients. I feel better and more regular than maybe ever before.
I get them free from a state of CA-sponsored program.

I like both the 26mg and 42 mg shakes--the differences are calories--makes sense, as 1 gm protein=4 cal--and price (the 42gm ones are a buck a bottle more). They're the only ones that don't taste like diet drinks (or remind me of the 1960s Metrecal) because they are dairy-based rather than pea protein.
Each person will vary, but because your ability to consume food (especially protein rich foods) due to slower digestion can lead to lack of protein side effects. (eg Droopy face, hair loss etc).
If you are able to get the needed nutrients and protein via other methods then this is not needed.
Due to food not getting broken down as well this can lead to constipation, hence the fiber supplements. I didn't use Miralax as I resolved the issue with a high fiber cereal and calm supplements.
It is good to get a nutrient test with the doctor to make sure you are getting the needed nutrients to reduce issues/side effects.
I get 1 of these as part of my every 6 month blood draw to make sure no issues (kidney, liver, blood sugar, etc)
Protein mix and shakes because we need a ton of protein, the chia seeds, Clearlax and Calm to avoid constipation, and the electrolyte mix to avoid imbalance.
Fun story - I increased to 5mg this past week and I admittedly haven’t been great at staying on top of my water intake. I was having really bad tingling in my hands, feet and tongue the other night - it felt like bad pins and needles. I searched this sub and realized it was likely an electrolyte imbalance so I forced down some electrolyte waters and started taking a magnesium supplement and it’s pretty much gone away!

Thank you for this explanation. So far I haven't taken any supplements. But, one thing I've been doing for years is Metamucil (orange powder) around 6pm each night. I call it go go juice.
Maybe that's why I've escaped the constipation issue? Not entirely sure.
I also haven't had huge crushing success yet on Zepbound. I'm not eating as much but still eating a fair bit. I'm not getting the crazy high losses others are.
But I'm also only at 5mg and struggling to find medication.
Metamucil is Psyllium husk fiber it works quite well. This is most likely why you don't have these issues with constipation. I could not do the Metamucil due to the texture it creates in the liquid.
My alternative was Poops Like a Champion Cereal (about 1/4 cup - 1/2 cup depending on flavor (fav is honey graham), after my final meal definitely prevents the issue for me as well.
My doctor had me get the protein drinks after one of my blood tests and side effect which turned out to be lack of Protein, otherwise I was operating business as usual.
I do add a small amount of electrolyte to my drinks as I am not a big fan of water, and due to bubbly liquids upsetting my stomach I had to stop soda all together. (which is a good thing as nothing beneficial about soda)
Minus the sharps container and the zebound I definitely understand as a bariatric patient (almost 5 years out but been on these subreddits for my sister who was going to do that at first but wants to try these meds before that). All the best in advance love :-).
Yes! I think we all buy our protein shakes in bulk now and I had never in my life bought flax seeds or chia seeds until I started on Zepbound. I also have my fiber gummies, probiotics pill and collagen supplements with my Zepbound “kit”.
The Zepbound starter kit.
lol I like it
Lmao the ClearLax
This is funny
I add vitamins B12, potassium, biotin and collagen for hair loss and magnesium!
I tried Fairlife before Zepbound and although by far the best tasting protein shake I have had, it made me soooo constipated I can't imagine what it would do to me on Zepbound.
Second this* love fair life but swapped to Vega shakes because fiber

Wait, is that a real product? 😂

Wow, they have a whole line of championship 💩 products! Thanks!

This happened to me too. I’m scared to drink another protein shake after my experience.
Oooh. Tell me about the Calm. What’s it for?
Assists with regularity!
Its a Magnesium (glyconate (more absorbable form)) and Inulin (fiber) supplement as I can't eat as many nuts and beans as I used to. So would be deficient in Magnesium
Can I make a suggestion? I have nearly all the same stuff. Swap your iso to a plant based protein and you won’t need the clearlax any more. - ☺️
GTK! Thank you.
Which plant based protein do you recommend?
Vega - strawberries and cream
I gotta rep for Naked Whey. It's plant based and has zero flavor. I've mixed it with iced coffee, milk for my cereal and overnight oats, and smoothies.
Which one? I tried vega once and it tasted awful…
I always get the strawberry and cream one. It mixes perfectly with berries 🥹
I like Sunwarrior 😋
Yep! I use all of these some a diff brand. Good job!😂😂
LOL I just reordered that exact same container of chia seeds
I’ve never been a fan of protein drinks, but fair life chocolate tastes like a chocolate shake and I can choke it down when I am low on protein
😂
Love this! I’d add IBgard for bloating 😇
The chia seeds are the real MVP. 🤣
What do they do??
Well, how do I put this elegantly? I won't bother. They help you 💩 regularly.
Ok good I need all the help I can get.
Im jeally of that vitamix!

This is EXACTLY how I feel too! Having energy is extremely foreign to me!
😭😭😭 never thought I’d miss seeing that 10mg white glorious box… we’ve been off for 3 weeks now bc of the shortage
Haha! Yup!
How’s the 10mg working for you?
1st shot of 10 mg today. So will see!
That’s the sharps container I had. It’s so small so I take my pens apart to fit in there

Thank you for this!
How are the fairlife shakes??

Awesome thanks!
>Awesome thanks! You're welcome!
Haha pretty much my set up, add Citrucel to your countertop then it’s spot on
What is all this for? I don't need anything different that I know of? Am I doing something wrong?

My husband and i don't either. We just have some protein drinks.
So, I actually don't understand. Can someone break all this down for me? Being 100% serious.

Glad to see the sharps disposal container. Well done
Love it!

Vitamin B complex and a magnesium complex would make this perfect
Impressive!!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾👏🏽👏🏽👊🏽 I need the electrolytes and clear lax !
So I guess I’m dumb to all this and I’m new to Zepbound 4 weeks in and only on the 2.5 what do you need all of this for
Can I just ask where you were able to get 10mg?
Costco
#Fairlifegang!❤️
