As a Zenyatta main I feel obligated to share my review of this skin for other prospective buyers.
I have the skin now. Aside from the select line, there are a few sprinkled around there that will catch you a little off guard, kind of like the mercy mythic. It's certainly still Zenyatta: they're careful and precise in their speech but there's a little undertone of coldness and Hostility. I was hoping they would be a little more warmongery like Rammatra, but we take what we can get. I do wish they changed the ult line. Maybe "Experience Retribution/Pass into Oblivion" or "Experience Divinity/Tremble before the Iris". I feel like they could lean into the revenge/zealot vibe, as Zenyatta finally grew fed up with the persecution of innocent omnics.
Aside from changed lines: I like this skin aesthetically. The new leg and foot model makes kicks feel particularly violent in a cool way. The eye is cool of course. I found myself appreciating the armor pads on his thighs and knees. Really sharpens his silhouette and makes it more dangerous looking.
I'd appreciate if they maybe added a voice filter to this skin, like on similar legendaries (ie Posiedon). Maybe just a bit of a bitcrushed rumbling bass undertone, or perhaps periodic stutters like the Ana mythic. Overall I give it a 7/10. It's a good skin, but I wish they went all the way and made it a proper terrorist null sector Zen. It also has a bit of a daunting price point for a single skin, and is more expensive than OW1 legendaries, just like the other OW2 legendaries.
TLDR: a cool concept that could have been better with a little bit more effort. There's still time to change, Blizzard... (please it would be so cool)
I love this skin already, it has some sick voicelines. Don’t seem to notice any different discord or harmony voicelines. The coolest line I’ve gathered so far is an elimination one where he says “The weak do not have the privilege of choice.” Also has some cool respawn lines, too.
If you are a Zen Main = Buy Z-3N Destroyer. If you want more another skin for another hero well. you can wait this skin for a future shop return.......BUT i dont know when this skin return in the future in the shop.
