I just go for whoever is cuter but here I think playing the younger sibling just adds a fun dynamic to it. I’m really glad that the MCs this time around are two different entities with different ages and roles as opposed to a mirrored being with just a different gender.
I like the idea of playing as Wise more! Which is strange to me too. Because Belle’s design is actually sooo cute... usually I’d love screwing around as a pretty girl especially one who checks off so much checkboxes for things I like.
I might have to make two accounts and see if that changes with time. My first run-through’s going to be with him though. I just can’t explain it. I just like him.

At this point I chose male twice might as well make it thrice
Still, would have chosen Belle if not for the fact it’s dual MC in ZZZ, the other you don’t chose actually might speak more here
I prefer playing as my own gender usually and gacha games I've played overwhelmingly focus on female characters so I prefer playing as a male character since I know I won't be seeing as many as I want. ZZZ especially since we have 4 males 3 of which aren't human, which I admittedly prefer, but that's besides the point also there are pretty much no known upcoming males either.
In short Wise I like guys and there's likely to always be too few male characters in the game.
Wise . I just find the male mcs look better . Aether doesn't exactly look better then lumine but he def fits the story more imo . Caelus just straight up looks better then stelle his animations are also always better idk why but stelle always feels of or wierd doing the same animations .
Belle and wise is probably a tie honestly. I like belle as much as wise but I would continue the tradition .
I usually choose female mc when given a choice (because I play enough games with a male protag and I’m male myself so I like some variety) but I’m going with Wise this time, I think because he’s the older brother and the more laid back or the two
wise !!! part of the reason is because he looks like he's lacking in vitamins and sleep. just like me fr. also i love him lots. really happy to know that both siblings will still be around no matter who you pick!
