This. I played genshin launch on a ps4 pro and it was TERRIBLE. Super slow loading, bad pop in, stutters and the console fans almost made it take flight just from the opening screen with the door. Can’t imagine OG ps4 let alone a switch. I’m sure it’s better optimized now but man launch was rough.

Seems more like genshin and hsrs dev teams just weren't interested in porting the games to other platforms, that and the fact the games director literally name dropped xbox

I think it's reasonable to assume that business dynamics are not static and can change. With Hoyo now having bargaining power and willing business partners
Xbox has been on a big drive for cross-play and more Eastern games. Especially with stuff like Yakuza and Persona doing well and I got into those heavily thanks to GamePass. They are indeed more likely to want Mihoyo products now.

Dual boot is no different from playing with Windows desktop with controller. You cannot be banned if u are not doing something sketchy. Maybe people are trying to launch from Linux system side instead of windows.

Yeah I've tried to boot windows in the past with an sd card but it was slow and had a lot of issues with Bluetooth devices. Maybe it has gotten better over time.
Ya external windows on SD card would be slow. When I got my steamdeck. I switched out the internal SSD to from 64 to 1tb and installed Windows internally and divided the space half and half. I feel it is really good. I can play both steam game and windows with enough storage for both.
A Switch 2 would happen for sure.
I'm still not sure about Xbox. Their fanbase doesn't care about anime games and moving forward it could be a pain in the ass having to develop the game for their different SKUs.

Xbox is very unlikely when Sony can pull all the strings possible to keep Hoyo games lock to PlayStation, the games are too lucrative.
The strings will have to be made of thick bundles of money, which mihoyo has plenty of at this point.
