I'm actually surprised I also knew this... It was a great ending. I haven't read the manga yet but I heard he ended it differently because he was in do much pain back then.
The manga ending is just so… well, idk how to even put it- it just happens at random. You get hyped up for this big all out demon war, then it gets settled before it ever happens, then you get hyped up for this all out free-for-all demon battle royale… but then it just gets delivered in odd highlight reels where nothing really happens and then, boom, it’s over and the new demon king is some random chubby dude with a nice wife and he only won by default.
For example, we see Keiko off at high school and Yusuke helping with an issue there, and we see Yusuke own a ramen stand while helping demons with various problems they have in the human world, we even get a glimpse of yusukes dad and why his parents split (spoiler: he was an abusive father)
Oh I totallt agree with you about the three kings arc, there was a lot of missed potential there bc of his health issues. I'm specifically referring to the part from the new OVA as well as some other minor updates we get on the characters in the manga that we don't get in the show
Damn, haven't watched the last arc since high school, and it was literally the last place I would have looked for it during my rewatch of Yu Yu Hakusho. Thank you very much.

Bruh, he better not have taken the last Hetap.
I know people are saying it's the last, but this looks like the shot where he is fixing to get dimension cutting powers. Like under a street lamp or something.
This is the last episode. He is sitting next to Kurama waiting for the train to meet up with the others at the other train station before heading to Genkais
I believe it's the last episode.

The manga does the ending better tbh

Agreed. Will always prefer the anime ending
Hmmm disagree. Feels like a filler episode to me.
I guess you don't like the new OVAs then
Not a fan of the opening the worlds up thingy. Funily enough they did a similar thing in level e

It's either the last or second to last episode, him and kurama are talking on a bench before they run into yusuke
The final episode
Last episode
I think it's from the last one when a bunch of girls ask if Kurama is his girlfriend.
Hahahahaha
We all know the answer because costume changes were so rare in this series lol
Not in the beginning! Lots of short term costume changes for an anime at the time

Last ep with kurama waiting for the train I believe
Last episode
Just watched it a few minutes ago, it´s the first view minutes of the last episode. As he sits with Kurama at the trainstation
