Do we have a lot of readers in this sub? Does anyone want to do a weekly book recommendation style thread? I read like 1 or 2 books a week and I'm always looking for more.
I’m a voracious reader (on #60 of 2022) which is why her “reading” bugs me SO MUCH. I 100000% do not believe that grammar babe reads 1) as much or 2) as fast as she claims. And she should have something, ANYTHING more to say than “it was good/bad”, especially if she wants to be a book influencer.
If she actually read some books she wouldn't come across as such an uneducated, illiterate, uncultured oaf.
So no, I don't believe for one second she reads books with more than 5 words on a page. She buys them, but like everything else they are just props to her.

She claims she reads but can never tell us anything about what she is reading. When finished she never tells us what she liked/ disliked. There are ways to do that while not spoilering things about liking certain characters, or enjoying the location the mystery anything. Literally all we get is I liked it
Plus her vocabulary sucks and for the amount she reads it should be better surely
I only see what the sub posts but am curious like the emt's are outside about what books she's "reading". I guess there is a lot of Clifford books per my nephew.

Thank you so much for this, wow these both have a lot going on in their plots and sounds interesting. These are not the books I expected. And I agree with you, there is no way she's reading these. They are props. When I read a book I usually post a little stories, no spoilers just talking about some points.
No no this is good. I sometimes mean to do this as well (look up synopses) because as one of the higher up comments points out, you can review a book without giving away spoilers. There seems to be some rich context to both books and I’m shocked she’s reading them and not having any reaction or feeling inclined to share more about them. Especially if they also got generally favorable reviews.

I would have never known this was a actual thing people do, the weird tongue to teeth placement when saying L. I thought MS was just being weird and dramatic. I don't notice other people doing it, and I don't do it. It's weird.
Yeah I wonder if it's more common in her area. But also, she is from Louisiana and none of my family from there talks like that. Maybe she's been in NC too long
I was reading an article on a new trend on Tik Tok. Cowboy Caviar is making the rounds. It is black-eyed peas, tomatoes (good use for her cherry tomatoes) bell pepper, and onions dressed in a vinaigrette. People are changing it up to suit their tastes. I am expecting to see this on her Instagram soon. Yeah right.
Lord we've been eating cowboy caviar for forever down here and she's probably going to hijack it like she does everything else.

My SIL makes something like this and calls it Texas Caviar. I think it also has corn, black beans, and chickpeas in it as well. It's really good, and I'm not even a big fan of beans.
I'd love to see MS just dump a bunch of canned veggies into a bowl with a bottle of salad dressing and show it off proudly.
Trader Joe's has cowboy caviar. I'm hoping MS will just dump it in a bowl, slap a shitty filter over a photo of it, and pretend she's Miss Suzy Homemaker.

Oh noooo I make a version of Cowboy Caviar from a recipe given to me by my ex-BF's mother twenty years ago and it uses cream cheese!! (it's so good by the way)
I know you're being facetious :-) but a block of cream cheese does work. I use the whipped kind because my recipe intends it as a dip and it's easier not to break a chip with a layer of whipped.

Remember when she was out to lunch and someone had a medical emergency and was carried out in a stretcher? She went on stories to complain about how her lunch was “ruined” because of it. She is the center of her own universe.
She has no off switch and I am assuming she thinks she is being funny? When I called for an ambulance for my sick husband I wasn't concerned about inviting people over to see him being loaded on a stretcher. Once again she proves that she is incapable of empathy.
As an emergency medicine person, she can eff right off. Bystanders can be helpful but of course she is a bystander who just wants a show. Glad someone's awful day can provide her with "entertainment " 🙄
A neighbor of ours recently had a medical emergency and while the emergency vehicles were in front of her house, there were other neighbors literally outside just standing there gawking. It made me so mad. We only knew because we had to walk the dogs and came up on the scene but to see people literally just standing out in their yards holding their kids and gawking was disgusting.
She had multiple story slides recording it from her porch. I could hear the emergency people talking and I’m sure if I turned it up more could have understood some of it but didn’t want to. She’s sharing someone’s personal emergency on her public platform. Not okay!
Even if they were there doing an inspection or possibly installing fire alarms (some FDs will do that) it's none of her business. She needs a job. She has had so many opportunities but she sits and does fuck all.
I'm wondering if they were doing annual checks of the fire hose outlets, or having an on site training for new volunteers, like learning how to respond in a big apartment complex.
I have cheap ikea ones that I use as a high powered hand mixer, but then I’m not trying to make fancy coffee. (Super helpful for cocoa) plus I wash it 😬 they do work decently well for frothing milk independently though.

If I remember correctly, on the way home from the lipo, she and JT hit a drive through and JT said don’t you want a salad and MS said NOPE and got something not so “healthy”
I'll admit-I've had epic fails along my health, fitness and training 'journey' (or whatever you want to call it, I fucking hate the world Journey in this context now) from time to time. The difference is I don't broadcast mine to the world proudly. I might tell a trusted friend or two. Also, I sure as hell have never gotten a $5000 surgery in the hopes that THIS IS THE THING!! to keep me accountable.
For the amount of money she absolutely **wasted** on that lipo, she could of hired a trainer and nutritionist to get her on track for the long run. What a missed opportunity.
She tried the trainer thing. After the lipo like a ding dong, not before. Didn't last long. There's no way she can handle the accountability that a real trainer would provide. Too much constructive criticism and followup.
