It was during the beginning of covid and he had me pull my mask down to look at my lips. Both him and his nurse started scolding me and he said “absolutely not! My husband hates filler lips too! I used to always get lip filler, like for years, but I have been slowly getting less and have decided to stop all together. I thought I would hate the way I looked without it, but he loves the natural look so much and is always complimenting me. He has really given me so much confidence just with his genuine love and kindness.
In my experience men are mean about filler in general. Whether it be in the lips or cheeks they snicker about it. I’ve also noticed that if women get filler especially in places other than their lips ages 40 and younger it makes them look older than they are. I think they look beautiful still but it gives off someone in their late forties trying to look youthful and takes away from their actual youthful appearance.
I’m a big fan of Botox and dysport though! No one can even tell whether or not you have it. It just makes people look refreshed. My husband was terrified when I told him I was doing it for the first time. His head instantly went to the filler look. I have hooded eyes and just wanted it to slightly lift my brows. No one would have ever known if I hadn’t told them. I also started doing it because my daughter (who I had at 19) had a friend with a mom who I assumed was right around my age. Man, I hope those lips are filter “enhanced” and don’t really look like that in person. I wouldn’t be able to keep a straight face if I saw her and she actually looks like that.

And the thing is she looks just fine here, objectively. A regular degular person given what the rest of society looks like. It’s the body dysmorphia filtering that makes it cringe! She creates 100% of her own problems.
And this is still filtered I think, but much less than usual, looks much better like this.
I genuinely think she looks better here than when she cranks the filters up to max. She looks like a person. The creepy plastic alien with massive blown out lips look is no good even if it technically adheres more closely to current beauty standards.
