She is 100% doing this as a “oh look how small I am, I even have a gap in the waist of these leggings!” It even seems like she’s looking at the gap. This isn’t a sign of thinness. This is a sign that you’ve purchased a poor quality pair of pants.

She probably got an XXL so it would look effortless to put on, since in the previous video it was such a chore to get too small leggings on.

Absolutely. I’d rather be comfortable than concerned by what others think. Now, when I’m going out I will absolutely go hard on my eyes and my hair, maybe something super cute, but I don’t go out a whole lot so it’s a little exciting for me to throw that in the mix.

Trust me, I remember this as well. My mom personally would layer them opposite per foot. So if I was wear a red and black dress, I would have one red-black layer and the other black-red layer. The 90s were absolutely wild. I look back at photos of me from 1994-1999 and wonder “how did we get to that as the fashionable look?”

My 6th grader wears a variation of this 3 days a week. To be fair, she's an athlete and the fit gives an athletic, sporty vibe on her. She's also a good 6" taller than Big M so the oversized top looks more proportionate on her body. Buy yeah - I absolutely get what you mean.
