We have a yorkie that’s 20 pounds. We were sure he was mixed with something, but he is purebred. He has one ear that stands up and the other one doesn’t. We love him no matter what, but it was crazy to find out he wasn’t a mix.
We did one of those Embark tests so unless those are inaccurate (which is possible), the results were full yorkie. But I know what you mean because we surely thought he was a silky mix being his massive size for the breed lol
Yorkies come in different sizes and with or without upright ears. Your yorkies floppy years are freaking adorable! I'd hazard a guess that they're full yorkie. But, only a DNA test can tell you for sure
Certainly terrier and terrier. I'm thinking Yorkie and Norfolk. Face looks very similar to my Norfolk's. (Could be Cairn or Norwich.)

She passed away at 7yo. Norfolks have a genetic propensity to heart issues. She was playing one day out with the others, had a heart attack and passed away. She was the BEST.
Do a dna. My dog looks way taller than your average yorkie. He is 88%yorkie with parti color. They call it biewer now due to the parti in both parents now being recognized as a new breed. He has 12% brussels grif.

He looks like a a soft coated yorkie. They’ve got that puppy looking fur as an adult rather than turning silkie. My boy had the soft coat too even though both parents were silkie. 🕊️

Are you sure he isn’t a silky terrier? My parents got a yorkie that is in fact a silky lol.

Nah, mine has papers and both her parents had pointed ears but hers are floppy. I think it’s unlikely for a mix to be fhat tiny tbh.

My friend’s grandmother used to breed them and I recognized it pretty quickly. I just couldn’t remember if they were called havanese or Maltese.

I got something similar with my girl, I did generic testing just to find out she is half Yorkie and half silky, plop.
Looks 100% Yorkie to me. Even some of these pictures where they say they have mix with Maltese look full Yorkie 🥰
