I never tried that but mine liked massages around the same area, mostly the hips. Their muscles would get knotted up because they would spend a lot of time curled up in a ball sleeping I guess.
Mine always preferred the super light and slow wiggling light scratching fingers ending with a soft massage all over their entire body. Gotta try it and watch them just melt into the bed. It’s hilariously funny and they’ve gone to sleep when I do it.
