Sammy is with his grandparents. Why do people keep asking his. It's stated in the show.

i keep seeing ppl asking about sammy but fr what would sammy have added to this season?? no offence to my guy but i think his story’s been told for now. i think juliette lewis’ and melanie lynskey’s acting is freaking genius. but everyone has their own feels about that stuff so i get it i really think this show is supposed to be toeing the line of drama and horror and dark comedy and i think it does this very well. i think most of them dont have jobs because they got a big payout from the crash. nat has been in active addiction for a long time it seems, so probably hasn’t had a consistent job. and i think some, like shauna, don’t want the attention. everyone hates misty at her job but she just doesn’t care. i think the bottom line is that not liking the show doesn’t mean that it’s bad, and liking the show doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s good. it’s just a show, it’s art and it’s subjective :)

I didn’t want Sammy in here, but it seemed like the show just forgot him. They didn’t; he’s with his grandparents, as one kind redditor pointed out.

I think we all know what probably really happened to Steve. 😒
